Christmas Bonus

I Will NEVER Leave You – Secrets Of The Seven Seasons.

At this time of year whether you are a believer or not most of the world focuses on Christmas/ New Year and everything that it encompasses.

This season can evoke a plethora of emotions, and for as many reasons, both good and bad.

This may be the first Christmas without a loved one.

It may be an annual reminder of a tragic event and of great or sudden loss.

Maybe there is no family to share the time with due to circumstances and events such as separation, divorce, abandonment, sickness and a host of other reasons.

Nothing highlights all these scenarios more than a traditional family time gathering.

It often amplifies the loneliness, depression and disappointment that can settle on individual lives at a time when everybody else seems to be enjoying themselves surrounded by family food festivities and gifts galore.

On the flip side – for some, the gathering together of family members is not a happy time at all. No one really wants to be there and the siblings and the in-laws don’t get on together.

The visits end in fights and feuds and everyone leaves wishing they’ve never gone. Many face the prospect of paying off credit cards that they have maxed out feeling they had to buy everybody something, it takes a whole year to pay it down and then they do it all over again!

The western tradition of Christmas has lost much of the real reason for the celebration. It has become simply a commercial time and is symbolic of excess and over doing in every area of the flesh life.

For those who believe in the reality of the son of God who was born in Bethlehem, and who are born-again by the spirit of the living God, believing that He gave His life so that we could be reconciled to the Father. We do not rely on one specific day to celebrate His presence in our lives, He is our life.

If you are physically alone this Christmas, be encouraged, there are thousands of people in the same situation. Many have lost their homes and everything in them this year, as well as family members. There are countless worse things that can happen to a person other than getting the gift they did not want.

The love of the father does not change because it’s a particular day of our Gregorian calendar year. His loving kindness never changes and is there for us every moment of every day.

No one is ever truly alone for His presence never leaves us nor forsakes us. Scripture says that He is close to those that are brokenhearted and He watches over His people. He sees what they are going through in these critical times, and He knows their innermost feelings.  2Timothy 3:1; Acts 17:27.

He is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. Ps.34:18.

One of the things He came to do is recorded His own words in Luke 14:18 fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah:

He came to heal the broken hearted.

He is no respecter of persons and each reader can rely completely on this promise from His own lips.

If you are alone consider it a good thing. Many people are too afraid to be alone. They are afraid of silence and their own thoughts. They keep busy all the time with noise, noise and more noise. Whether it’s music, voices, TV, radio, social media what ever the source, it serves to block out what ever they are trying to forget.

It is hard for our Fathers’ Holy Spirit to get our attention when there is always so much activity going on. Busy, busy, busy, stress, stress, stress, getting nowhere fast. Some people always have to be doing something they cannot just be still and know that He is God. (A picture of Martha and Mary.)

They are missing the true end and scope of life, which is God. So embrace the silence and the quiet time, enjoy being alone with our Father, with no distractions or interruptions, nothing to do but sit and immerse yourself in His wonderful presence and let His healing power flood our entire being.

It’s not the date, the day, the company, or lack of it that is important but where our focus rests.

Secrets of the Seven Seasons

Seven is a Number used many times in scripture as noted in previous posts. It is up to each individual concerning whether to celebrate Christmas or not. It is certainly never wrong to remember His first coming, if there wasn’t a first there couldn’t be a second!

It is worth mentioning here that God’s year is not based on our year and His Calendar structure came long before ours did. His birth is not an isolated historical fact and should not be seen as such, and here is why.

He set up the year, which we can see in this present age, according to the pattern set out in the Old Testament. (Lev. 23.) His year begins at Pesach/Passover, and the mystery it holds foreshadows the death of the lamb, beginning the age with salvation. It is symbolized by a cup and a piece of matzo bread. (emblems of His body and His Blood of the re-newed covenant)

Next is Yom Resheet, the date when the first fruits of the Spring harvest are lifted up to the Lord. The mystery within the second appointed date foreshadows the day of first fruits as Messiah is lifted up from the dead in the raising up of Him as the first fruits of new life, the resurrection. It is symbolized by a sheaf of barley.

Symbolized by sheaves of wheat and two loaves of bread is the third appointed event and it holds another mystery. The feast of Shavuot launches the summer harvest and foreshadows the feast of Pentecost, which was the giving of the Ruach, His Spirit and was the launching of the harvest of this age.

The fourth appointed time is the great harvest of the summer. Here the mystery foreshadows the harvest of the nations, it is the time of the gospel, of sowing and reaping and going to the ends of the World with the word of salvation. This is the time that we are in now. It is symbolized by grains, figs, grapes and olives.

Here there is a gap in the seasons as we come to the fifth mystery of the feast of trumpets. This has yet to come to pass prophetically and it foretells the sounding of the trumpets; which will happen at the end of the age, to declare the coming of the King. It is symbolized by a shofar or rams horn.

Symbolized by a cloth, a piece of a curtain, embroidered with cherubim is the sixth mystery of Yom Kippur. This is the day of atonement when man and God are face to face. The mystery within this appointed time foreshadows the day of judgment and salvation when man and God will stand face-to-face.

The final and seventh mystery symbolized by branches of the Lulav and citrus fruit. It is called the feast of tabernacles or booths/Sukkot. Hidden within it meaning is the mystery telling the age of the kingdom to come when God will live/ abide/tabernacle, among us and we will forever be with Him. Then the mystery of the age will all be fulfilled.

If Messiah was born in the Spring it would have coincided with Pesach,Passover, the lamb of God and sacrifice and if in the autumn it would be Sukkot and the tabernacling with mankind. Either is significant. There is a way to calculate from the date of Zechariahs visitation as mentioned in a previous post as well as more on each feast. However not the focus here.

These times of the year, plus Hanukkah are those planned by our heavenly Father and have wonderful meaning to us as believers in Messiah Jesus as we have the mysteries of the ages revealed to us by understanding their true origins. His birthday was just one day and He never told us to remember it but rather to remember what He was teaching.

People decided to focus on a date and it may have had the initial goal of evangelism and making sure His first coming was not forgotten. The world back then did not function in the same way ours does, they had no alarm reminders of any kind, just the annual cycle of God’s seasons. He said remember Me as often as you do this, by taking communion, and doing what He has asked us to and to, and being continually prepared, and ready for His return at His second coming.

In Christmas, as His birthday, we are looking 2000+ years in retrospect, we need to be looking forward and upward, for our redemption does indeed draw close. He rose and will return as surely as He came then.

Wherever you are, whatever predicament you find yourself in, be encouraged. Father knows where you are and sees you and understands your needs at this moment. Simply ask, cry out for what you need Him to be for and to you and He will answer.

His promises never fail.

Call to me and I will answer….

Prayers go out to to each and every one over these few days of Christmas/New Year and especially all who have been affected by the worldwide natural/weather disasters.

So although it’s not a biblical holyday and it was by man’s design which began in the middle of the 8th century. The disciples did not celebrate it nor did the early church. However as believers in Jesus the Messiah/ Yeshua HaMashiach, let’s open our hearts for His all encompassing presence and let Him fill us with His joy, which is not the shallow frivolity of the world but the source of all spiritual strength; which will sustain us, bringing healing in all its fullness.

With God we are never alone, we may physically be by ourselves but by abiding in Him we are never truly alone and are always a part of the ‘called apart ecclesia’, the true remnant and body of Messiah.

The shortest day of the year has already passed it gets brighter from here on; and as the path of the righteous is to the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

Receive the loving thoughts and prayers of the congregation of His family/Mishpachah in Jesus/Yeshua’s Name.

And remember

for He has said, “I will never[under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, “The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?” Hebrews 13:4-6 Amplified Bible (AMP)

A Mystery – How Messiah Takes Blue And Red Threads To Make Purple People.

There is not one insignificant detail from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21.  Everything in scripture tells us something about Messiah. Hebrew is a pictograph language (picture writing), so colors also have meaning and a significant role in the text.

Because everything is connected – links are provided to previous posts that give more detail on the various areas mentioned in this one.

From the High Priest’s garments to the furnishings, coverings, curtains, implements; everything in the colors of the Mishkan /Tabernacle of Moses, was designed according to God’s exact specifications given to Moses on Mt. Sinai.

The instructions for the color of the veils or curtains in the Tabernacle were to be blue, purple and red or scarlet.

Exodus 26:1
“Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine woven linen and blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave them.”

Exodus 26:31

““You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.”

There were three main colors:  Blue, purple and scarlet, woven throughout the tabernacle from it’s coverings and curtains to the garments of the high priest.  A fourth color, the pure white linen which is not readily visible, served as the foundation of every fabric.

The cloth made for the Mishkan/Tabernacle was woven with the finest tiny threads of blue and red and when they’re positioned so close together they appear to be purple.

Purple is the joining, the melding, combining and blending of blue and red.

This was done as a visual representation

of the place of reconciliation,

the joining

and the place –

‘Ha Makem’-‘The Place’-המקום

was called the Tent of Meeting – it was literally where:

spiritual met physical –

Divine met human –

God met man.

Two realities –

Two realms –

Two dimensions connected.

Shemoth (Exodus) 35:25-26 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

Linen was white.

White speaks of purity and righteousness.

And every skillful woman spun with her hands, and they all brought what they had spun in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. All the women whose hearts stirred them to use their skill spun the goats’ hair.

10 An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels. . . .
13 She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands. . . .
19 She puts her hands to the distaff,
and her hands hold the spindle. . . .
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household,
for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes bed coverings for herself;
her clothing is fine linen and purple. . . .
24 She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers sashes to the merchant.
(Source: Proverbs 31:10-31;

The order was consistently the same Blue, Purple, Red/Scarlet; from right to left, as with Hebrew writing.

Blue is the color of the sky the heavens and so blue represented the heavenly realm and God so it is always listed as first priority.

Blue typifies God’s divinity. It could be said that it’s the color of God.  Blue has a very special meaning to Him representing shamayim – the heavens. It is said God made the sky blue to reflect the glory of His beloved Son!

The middle color purple depicts royalty and is the melding and joining of blue and red the joining of heaven with earth of God to man of spirit with flesh and only in the joining is the purple seen, revealing a total fusing of all that is Him with all that is us. This is the miracle and hard to comprehend – all that is holy, to all that is not and the mystery of the plan of God to become so totally joined that He/Messiah/God will appear to be as sin.

Red/scarlet is a picture of His human side as well as His shed blood.  The color scarlet or red is connected to man through the word in Hebrew – adam=man; which has its roots in the Hebrew word for red. In the middle east the color of the earth is primarily redred earth from which man was created. Also scarlet/red is the symbol of sin and guilt.

It was a prophetic visual of that day to come at Calvary.

These three colors are always recorded in this order:

Blue, purple, scarlet.

The colors are very significant and are the same colors that are used in the garments of the High Priest.

The color Blue represents Heaven for Blue is the color of the sky and a reminder of the heavenly realm.  We are given a description of a glimpse of Heaven when we read of what Moses, Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu (the sons of Moses), and the 70 elders of Israel saw when they went up to worship God on Mount Sinai:

Exodus 24:10  And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

The significance of the color blue would be associated in the minds of all the people with the commandments of the Lord representing the 613 Laws. It also spiritually signifies the Healing Power of God. It is the color which represents, biblically, the Word of God. Numbers 15:38-41 denotes this biblical meaning of blue (fringe of the borders a ribband of blue).

The very fact that the sky is blue stands for His presence; Sapphires reflect a beautiful sky-blue color reminding us of not only the blue heaven we can see but also the Heaven far beyond, the Heaven of heavens.

Nehemiah 9:6  Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

The Biblical blue was essential in its use in the Temple in Jerusalem and the scripture commands that this color be worn on the tzitzit, the four-cornered garment of the tallit/prayer shawl.

However, for close to 1500 years, the identity of the Biblical blue was lost to the world.

https://www.minimannamoments.com/mysterious-secret-of-the-hilazon/

Tekhelet is ancient Hebrew for blueviolet, used in Modern Hebrew as a color equivalent to light blue. Information concerning it, remained in passages in the Talmud which describes the source of the blue dye – a snail known as the (C)hilazon. In ancient times purple and blue dyes derived from snails were so rare and sought after that they were literally worth their weight in gold. These precious dyes colored the robes of the kings and princes of Media, Babylon, Egypt, Greece and Rome. To wear them was to be identified with royalty. Notice the red stripes on the inside of the snails shell. By His (blood red) stripes we are healed.

Numbers 15:38-40

The color red in the Bible represents blood.  The life of man is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11) and Messiah’s blood atonement is necessary for the redemption of man. His pure blood paid the penalty for our sins and by His blood, we are washed clean.

Yeshua/Jesus as our Passover sacrifice

Revelation 1:5  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

1 Peter 1:18-19  For as much as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But [redeemed] with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Col 1:20-21  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.

It also represented the red ribbon of Rahab, which pointed to the inclusion of the Gentiles in salvation.

A darker shade of red is scarlet. It’s a color used, along with blue and purple in the Tabernacle, and it represents earthiness. The Hebrew word for scarlet has the same root meaning of the Hebrew word for earth. Adam was created from the dust of the earth– he was earthy, and in the story it’s told that Esau was born red all over like a hairy garment — With red hair all over his body, and so they named him Esau. Genesis 25:25

Esau became a profane man– a man related not to spiritual things, but to earthly things. Also from the root word of scarlet comes the word for worm.

The psalmist referred to himself as a worm (Psa 22:6), Isaiah referred to Jacob in his natural state as a worm (Isa 41:14), and Yeshua/Jesus referred to unregenerate man as a worm (Mark 9:444648) — and that is exactly what man is in his natural state, without God.  Man’s life is in the blood. He is earthy.  But, redeemed by the pure and precious blood of Messiah, our life is in the Spirit.

Purple represents kingship.

In ancient times, purple dye was expensive, therefore making the color purple symbolic of prestige, nobility and kingship/royalty (Judges 8:26Esther 8:15).

The Bible also reveals purple to be symbolic of wealth, prosperity and luxury (Exodus 28:5Ezekiel 27:7Proverbs 31:22Song of Solomon 3:107:5Luke 16:19Acts 16:14Revelation 17:418:1216).

Purple reminds us of Jesus because He is the King of kings and He lives and rules in the hearts of those who are His.

Romans 15:12  And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

1 Timothy 1:17  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 19:16  And he [Jesus] hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

The color purple, which combines both blue and red, red/scarlet, which points to Yeshua/Jesus’ blood, His life as a man, and His work on earth (scarlet = earthy), and the color blue, which points to His heavenly dwelling place (blue = Heaven).

https://www.minimannamoments.com/a-mystery-why-was-the-priest-in-the-water/

It directs us to the Royal Priesthood, (Melki-Zedek), which combines both the salvation given to us through the sacrifice of Messiah and our love of the Father shown through our obedience to the Law. As Yeshua/Jesus reminds us Matthew 5:17

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18 For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

However the sacrifices are no longer required because He was the lamb of God that took away the sin of the world. John 1:29

White: Due to its purity of light and color, white represents our clean linen garments of righteousness – the garments of salvation, as we prepare ourselves as His Bride to be clothed in the appropriate wedding garment.

White is the presence of all the light in the visible spectrum. Clouds and snow appear as white because almost all of the sun’s light is reflected by the water in the clouds and snow.  Only a very small amount of the visible spectrum is absorbed.  Fully light and without stain, the color white reminds us of the righteousness of Messiah.

He is pure light and pure righteousness and when a sinner comes to Him in faith He washes them clean.

Isaiah 1:18  …though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

When Yeshua/Jesus washes us clean from sin, He makes us “white as snow” by giving us His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21); representing the perfection of Messiah.

To these four colors was added gold.

The color gold points to God’s deity.  In ancient days, kings, pharaohs, and noblemen were adorned with gold to signify their high position.

King Solomon had an ivory throne overlaid with the best gold (1 Kings 10:18).

When instructions were given for building the furniture in the Tabernacle, God was very specific about the use of gold.  Every piece of furniture pointed to Christ and to His deity.  For example, in the Holy of Holies, the Ark of the Covenant was constructed of acacia wood (symbolic of Yeshua/Jesus’ humanity) and overlaid with pure gold (symbolic of His divinity). The mercy seat was pure gold as well as the two cherubim, one on each side with wings outstretched (Exodus 25:10-21).  The lampstand was constructed of pure gold, and the table of shewbread and the altar of incense were constructed of acacia wood (Christ’s humanity) and overlaid with gold (Christ’s divinity). Another example of gold representing Jesus’ divinity was at His birth. One of the Wise Men presented Him with a gift of gold, a gift befitting the King of kings that pointed to Yeshua/Jesus being the begotten Son of God.

God’s presence was in the Ark and it was also the receptacle of the Holy Spirit.

As the High Priest symbolizes the living Temple – we are the living Temple/Sanctuary today, the gold represents the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh in us.

Just as the gold was interwoven amongst all the other strands of material, so too His Holy Spirit/ Ruach HaKodesh ties all the members of the Body of Messiah together.

Gold represents God’s love because His love is more precious and more valuable than all the gold in the world and interestingly adding the letter L to GOD spells GOLD. And like gold, He is highly desired (Psalm 42:263:1Philippians 3:10) and His value exceeds everything and everyone.

Even in the color order there is a secret – a hidden message.

Before Messiah was born to live in a human body, He was fully God, or you could say fully blue – coming from the realm of the heavens, hashamayim.
Human beings, are often referred to as being red blooded. Adam, one of the words for man, in Hebrew, and can have the meaning of red-blooded man.

In modern Israel the word for blood is the word, dam,

which is the root word for “A-dam.”

If we follow this through then, Messiah, the fully blue of heaven, was born of Mary, a fully red human descended from Adam, it could be suggested that God, (in Messiah) became something He never was before – a perfect combination of the two realms Blue and RedPurple, or in this case – The Perfect Human. As the scripture 1Cor.15:45 says He was the Last Adam and the 1st Adam we know was also created perfect.

We as believers, start out fully red (of the earthly realm), accept the fully blue (Messiahs heavenly realm), and then we also become purple, royalty like Messiah as children of the King of kings……

His purple people.

The power of the coming Savior and the Atonement was prophesied through the prophet Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

On the cross, Matt 27:46 Mark 15:34 the Savior quoted Psalm 22:1 “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”

In this messianic psalm verse 6 states, “I am a worm, and no man” The Hebrew word used here for “worm” (tola’at) refers specifically to the crimson worm.

https://www.minimannamoments.com/the-secret-of-how-a-worm-preached-the-gospel/

The Hebrew words for scarlet (shani) and crimson (tola) signify where the colors were derived from—a worm (most likely Kermes echinatus).

The scarlet or crimson worm is of a family of insects that live on oak trees.

the words scarlet and crimson refer to red colors that come from certain dyes.

Ancient cultures placed great importance on dyes, especially those used for sacred or ceremonial purposes, such as burial clothing or purification rituals (see Leviticus 14:6). The point of a dye is that it is not only colorful but also colorfast, meaning that its rich color will stick to the cloth and not fade or wash away.

Permanent. The colorfast nature of scarlet and crimson dyes is similar to our sins, and “the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance” (Alma 45:16). “According to the great plan of the Eternal God there must be an atonement made, or else all mankind must unavoidably perish” (Alma 34:9).

Only the Blood of Messiah can remove a permanent colorfast stain of sin.

Crimson is a strong, red color, inclining to purple.

It originally referred to the color of the kermes dye produced from an insect, Kermes vermilio, (from where we get our word vermillion); but the name is now sometimes also used as a generic term for slightly bluish-red colors that are between red and rose.

There is a correlation with the Tabernacles’ 4 main colors and the 4 Gospels and also the 4 faced man, the 4 faces of the cherubim.

https://www.minimannamoments.com/a-keruvim-cherub-not-quite-like-we-imagined-part-2/

In Matthew’s gospel Yeshua/Jesus is portrayed most often as King of Kings. Messiah Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The lineage recorded in Matthew proves his rightful, kingly claim to the throne of His father, King David. The Lion corresponds to Him because it’s known as the King of the animal kingdom. As the color most often associated with royalty is purple, so it is the color of Matthew.

Red is the color for Marks gospel. Here, Messiah is most often referred to as the suffering servant.  The ox was used as a servant – a beast of burden, as well as a sacrificial animal.  Yeshua/Jesus went about doing good, healing, restoring.   Mark’s gospel records that He came not to be served, but to serve.  In Marks account, there is no genealogy here probably because the lineage or pedigree of a servant is not necessary.

The Temple veil with depiction of the four gospels.

In Luke, Yeshua/Jesus is portrayed in everyday and familiar domestic settings, we read of Him being among Mary, Martha and Lazarus and other ones that He loved so much. Its in Luke that the Prodigal son is recorded.  White is also associated with this gospel. In Luke’s record, Messiah is most often referred to as the son of Man, one of the 4 faces portrayed on the temple veil.

The reason for the portrayal as a man may be because its easy to get caught up in His Divinity, Holiness, majesty and might, that we sometimes forget that He is also fully human, with human emotions and human sympathies.

Hebrews 4:15 New International Version (NIV). 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are —yet he did not sin.

He doesn’t merely know how we feel the scripture seems to tell us that He feels what we feel. His lineage recorded here goes all the way back to Adam proving that He is 100% a human man.

Yeshua/Jesus is portrayed most often as the, Very God, from heaven so Blue
is connected with the Gospel of John, for here His Godhood is revealed. The Eagle, which soars high above in the heavens, represents this Gospel and there is no genealogy in John’s account because, as divinity, an eternal being, He has no beginning and no end.

The high priest’s garments and the Ephod itself also had a fifth element woven throughout, 5 is the numerical value of grace.

This 5th element was Pure gold thread.

Gold depicts God’s divinity and gave durability to the cloth as well as a glistening sheen. Artisans of ancient Israel took the purest fine gold and first hammered or beat it into very thin sheets until it was paper thin.  Next, they cut it into tiny strips, rolled and stretched it until it was very fine thread.  This was woven in amongst the blue, purple, scarlet and white linen and fashioned into the Ephod and the breastplate on which were mounted the 12 precious stones, representing the 12 tribes of Israel.

This hammering, beating, cutting, rolling and stretching is a graphic representation of the beating Messiah received as He took our place.  The scriptures record in Isaiah that He was brutalized so badly by the sadistic Roman soldiers, that He was not even recognizable as human.

All the remaining copious amounts of gold throughout the tabernacle was Beaten and hammered into shape, it was all fashioned in the same way.

The Gospels represent a beautifully woven tapestry of the Blue, Purple, Scarlet, White and Gold.

As the Blue as He healed all who were sick and oppressed of the devil.  Performing miracles, overcoming impossible obstacles and raising the dead.

As the Purple He was The King Who sat down on the mount to teach the people, not as the Scribes and Pharisees but as One having authority and the King Who rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.

As the Scarlet/Red as our divine servant went about doing good, the One Who suffered all for our sakes.

As the white He was the Man, sound asleep in the boat who awoke to the cries of those He loved in need of His help. Recognize the Blue in the power and majesty as He commands the wind and waves to be still with a word: SHALOM!

The Gold is represented as the One tested by the devil and proved Him to be the very God in human form.

As the fulfillment drew close as Yeshua prepared Himself to be the instrument of the actual joining, they mocked and beat Him and pressed a thorny crown into His head. And put a robe around Him the scriptures tell us it was a scarlet/purple color.

Behold the man!

So Yeshua/Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Look! Here is the man!” Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Holman Christian Standard Bible
They stripped Him and dressed Him in a scarlet military robe.

Matthew 27:28

The Soldiers Mock Jesus 27 Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company around Him. 28 They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. 29 And they twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head.

Young’s Literal Translation
and having unclothed him, they put around him a crimson cloak,

Weymouth New Testament
Stripping off His garments, they put on Him a general’s short crimson cloak.

Most other translations say scarlet from the greek κοκκίνην
kokkinēn

Scarlet Robe

Matt. 27:28, “They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.”

Matt. 27:31, “After they had mocked Him, they took the scarlet robe off Him and put His own garments back on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.”

Purple Robe

Mark 15:17, “They dressed Him up in purple, and after twisting a crown of thorns, they put it on Him.”

Mark 15:20, “After they had mocked Him, they took the purple robe off Him and put His own garments on Him. And they led Him out to crucify Him.”

John 19:2, “And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and put a purple robe on Him.”

John 19:5, “Jesus then came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Behold, the Man!”

The colors are both different and similar depending on the shade and the lighting.  For example, dark scarlet is very similar to darker purple.  In the condition of poor lighting, the distinction is even less apparent since the colors would appear darker.

So, it could simply be that the robe was a dark color that could have been accurately described by either word.

Purple was associated with triumph and emperors so along with the crown of thorns it was a mocking symbol of Yeshua/Jesus royalty.

Marcus Aurelius would have worn similar to this.

The very fact that purple was an expensive color made it affordable only to the royals. That Jesus was made to put it on before his crucifixion, implies that the Romans were sending a strong signal to the Jews against any coup.

It is full of significance. The symbolism of not just the purple, but all four colors of the robe viewed in the Gospel accounts from points of view.

Heb. 10:19-20 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

This then relates to the pattern of the tabernacle of Moses wherein the veil was made of four colors.

Ex. 26:31 And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:

Blue [tekeleth], purple [argaman]scarletlinen.

So we see Messiah clothed in the same, although the two purples refer to the blue and the purple; the word, gorgeous, may be translated white, like white linen.

John 19:2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple [porphyrus] robe,

Mt. 27:28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet [kokkinos] robe.

Mk. 15:17 And they clothed him with purple [porphyra- purple fish],

Lk. 23:11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous [lampros- white] robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

So, the color purple may have also related to royalty, but the primary point was to show Christ came in the flesh.

There are of course the usual Skeptics who maintain that a contradiction exists between the Gospel accounts because they describe the color of the robe differently. Matthew says that the soldiers “put a scarlet robe” on Jesus (27:27-28), Mark says that “they clothed Him with purple ” (15:16-17), and John states that the soldiers put “a purple robe” on Him (19:1-2). These differences have lead some to believe and advocate that the writers wrote under their own power with no help from a Higher Being, and thus they contradicted one another in their narratives. There is however, a valid explanation for the differences in the Gospel narratives concerning the robe placed upon Messiah after His scourging.

It is not uncommon that we all see colors a little differently. There are people who are color blind and do not see the true color at all. What one person calls blue, someone else may be more specific and call navy blue. A military uniform color may appear to some as dark red, but others who sees the faded uniforms for the first time at the end of a conflict may conclude that the color is more maroon. Another e.g. one child may color an orange-yellow Sun, while another makes a Sun that is bright yellow.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John simply wrote from different perspectives. The same way that people look at colors and see different tones, shades, and tints, they experienced the activities surrounding the life of Yeshua/Jesus from different perspectives and described what they saw individually.

It is very likely that the garment placed upon Yeshua/Jesus after his brutal scourging was similar to the description of the previously mentioned faded uniforms, but in His case we read of “a scarlet robe…faded to resemble purple” (The Wycliffe Bible Commentary). [It is difficult to imagine Pilate arraying Jesus’ bloody body with a new robe. More likely it was one that had been worn and cast off as useless (Barnes).] According to A.T. Robertson, there were various shades of purple and scarlet in the first century and it was not easy to distinguish the colors or tints (1997). In fact, the ancients (especially the Romans) used the term purple when speaking of various shades of red (McGarvey, 1875, p. 361; Barnes, 1997). Consequently, these different colors sometimes would be called by the same name.

So really there is no discrepancy in the scriptures concerning the color of the robe placed around Messiah. It seems that they were simply like others of their day and used the terms scarlet and purple interchangeably.

Purple – Crimson – Scarlet.

Colors in the Bible have a symbolic significance that can remind us of God and His plan of redemption.

As with numbers, colors point us to Yeshua/Jesus by symbolizing His Person and His works. Hebrew hermeneutics PARDES, has an interpretation approach that includes something called a “remez.”  A remez is a hint of a hidden message or a deeper meaning that is below the surface or behind the words.  Numbers and colors are both remezes.

Mt 27:28 Soldiers put a Scarlet clamus on Him

Mt 27:31 Soldiers put his Blue garment (chiton) back on Him.

Luke 23:11  But the Herod together-with his armies having-treated him with-contempt, and having-mocked (him), having-cast-around him (a) brilliant white esthes (ἐσθῆτα) (robe) he-sent him back to-the Pilate.

John 19:2 And the soldiers having-plaited (a) crown out-of thorn-plants they-put (it) upon his head, and they-cast-around him (a) purple himation (ἱμάτιον himation),

Matthew 27:35  But having-crucified him they-divided-for themselves his garments (ἱμάτια – himatia) casting (a) lot, in-order-that it-might-be-fulfilled, the-(thing) having-been-said by the prophet; They-divided-for-themselves my garments  (ἱμάτια – himatia) with-themselves, and on my vesture (ἱματισμόν – himatismon) they-cast (a) lot.

Note the Textus Receptus has additional Greek text here to connect to Psalm 22:18

Psalm 22:18 They part my garments (‫בְגָדַי beged) (LXX: ἱμάτιά himatia) among them, And upon my vesture (‫לְבוּשִׁ  lĕbuwsh) (LXX: ἱματισμόν himatismon) do they cast lots.

Finding Colors that Point to Messiah in the Symbolism:

There are many examples in the Bible of colors that point to Yeshua/Jesus.  One of the greatest examples is the door of the Tabernacle.

Exodus 27:16  And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.

Blue points to Heaven, where God dwells.

Purple points to One who would come as Messiah, the King of the Jews

Scarlet (red) points to His blood atonement, paid for the sins of man.

White (fine linen) points to the Righteous One and the righteousness He imputes to all who come to Him in faith.

This was the gate, the entrance to the Tabernacle, a type of door in the fence that surrounded the Tabernacle.  There was only one door through which to enter into the court of the Tabernacle.  Beyond the court, in the Holy Place, was gold furniture and beyond that was the Holy of Holies with the golden Ark and the presence of God.  We know that Jesus is our Door, and only through Him can man come before God.

I am the DOOR: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)

Therefore, we see that by passing through the four-colored veil/curtain, (DOOR) we look forward to our perfect High Priest, Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah.

An incredible fulfillment as the Messiah Yeshua was the vessel

in whom heaven and earth

God and man,

spirit and flesh,

infinite and finite –

blue and red became one – completely.

It is finished He said, knowing all that had been accomplished in every prophetic detail. Planned from the beginning including the detailed instructions of the Tabernacles construction;

so that as all that is red and ungodly in us –

is joined to all that is blue and godly in Him –

we become the purple people of His passion –

and He is our High Priest after the order of Malki Zedek.

On The Threshold of a Divine Portal

Looking at the amazing connection between the Anochi of the flock and the DOOR WAY to our future.

While compiling the thoughts from Father for this post, a childhood memory of a sign on a door brought a smile; almost as much as at the time it brought confusion! It Read…

It was hard to know whether the shop advertising the sale of ice cream was open or closed!

Clearly the sign was broken but its funny how things become stuck in the brain! Even now, whenever a sign beckons

it raises a question.

Are they really

or clopen or maybe they’re simply clopsed?

One thing is sure… the WAY through the DOOR to the Father is always open and there is NO confusion!

Yeshua/Jesus said I AM THE DOOR

Strongs Hebrew 1817 deleth

Phonetic Spelling: (deh’-leth)

דֶּלֶת

The Daleth (dalet) Dalet (dāleth, also spelled Daleth or Daled) is the fourth letter of many Semitic alphabets, including Phoenician, Aramaic, Hebrew letter D, is ד , the dalet,” meaning, he who possesses nothing of his own!

In man’s service of God, the dalet characterizes shiflut, lowliness, the consciousness of possessing nothing of one’s own.

Selflessness.

Together with the awareness of our own power of free choice, we must be aware that He gives us the power to achieve success, and not to think, that our accomplishments are our power and the strength of our hand. Free choice is no more than the expression of our will to participate, as it were, in the Divine plan.

The shape of the letter is two lines forming a right angle, with a corner point. Representing a man bent over.

The vertical line: represents selflessness and willingness to sacrifice one’s life for one’s people.

The horizontal line: submergence of the soul in its Divine Source.

The letter is based on a glyph of the Middle Bronze Age alphabets, probably called dalt “door” (door in Modern Hebrew is delet), ultimately based on a hieroglyph depicting a door and

Daleth also represents a doorway. The door stands in the opening of the house, the beit.

In other words, when the letter is placed in a word, you have to keep in mind that not only is it the letter ‘D’, it has the numerical value of 4 and symbolizes a door.

A door, the door is twofold: it opens two directions: in or out.

Doors keep things and people in or out for security and safety.

A door is a portal, a threshold, when we cross it we enter into a new area in the natural realm and a new dimension, another time and another place in the spiritual realm.

In the days spoken of in scripture, when an important person came to a home, an animal was sacrificed at the threshold of the door.

The threshold was considered sacred.

You were to step over it and never on it.

This may be one reason the blood was placed only on the lintel and posts in the Israelites homes at the first Passover because they were not to tread on it and we are not to trample the blood under our feet either. Hebrews 10:26-31

Today when you come to the threshold of a country they give the dignitaries the ‘red carpet’ treatment. The practice is rooted in this
offering of the animal at the threshold of the doorway.

This is also seen after a wedding where the Groom traditionally carries the bride over the threshold entering into a new life together the same as we do when we are born again and enter new life.

The door to God’s house allows for the humble of Ruwach/spirit to enter. The door itself, the dalet, is the property of humility and lowliness, and bitul, the entrance WAY to TRUTH. The dalet is also the initial letter of the word dirah, “dwelling place,” as in the phrase “[God’s] dwelling place below.” Thus the full meaning of the dalet is the door through which the humble enter into the realization of God’s dwelling place below.

We begin to understand more reasons why He said I AM the DOOR. If anyone enters in by Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.

I AM the Good Shepherd.

In Him we see the Fathers’ name, and expression

The Nail (Yud) upon the Door of the tent (Hei) of Jesus/Yeshua, opens the veil/way /door/entry (Dalet) to YaHuWaH (Hei) Kingdom

And taking the last three letters we see The door is open before YHWH (YaHuWaH)’s Righteous house.

The Holy/Kadosh Yahrushalom, is the place where the Tent/House/Beit of our Father is (above), where Jesus/Yeshua placed His blood upon the door, as in the blood of the Passover lamb on the door.

The DOOR of the sheep

The sheepfold to which He was referring, looks like this..

The shepherd was literally the door blocking the entrance stopping any predators or anything else coming in so the sheep were safe.

Any predator would have to go through the shepherd first.

He also stopped the sheep wandering out unprotected.

So even if he slept, if the sheep tried to climb over him, he would wake up.

Shepherds tend God’s flock because they love those who God loves; they mirror His heart in regards to His people – the singular motivation for the shepherds is their love for sheep, just as God loves them.

Hireling’s have an altogether different motivation – they tend God’s flock for the money, for the prestige and sense of power, being in the lime light, to be esteemed by others – and just as EZEKIEL 34 declares, these hirelings – or false shepherds, will actually take advantage of God’s sheep, or even abuse them.

When danger comes, the hireling will abandon God’s sheep, whereas the shepherd will lay down his very life for his sheep!

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.  9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Another characteristic of sheep: they follow after their shepherd that goes before them and leads them at the head of the flock. Goats are very different: they are not led by their shepherds at the head of the flock; rather Goat herders drive their goats from behind. This difference is significant in a special way: you see, sheep are led, but goats are driven.

JOHN 10:1-2

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.  2 But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

When He said that only a thief and a robber would try to climb over and not come in through the gate, there are 2 people identified here: the ‘robber/thief’ and the shepherd. They are marked by the way that they go in order to gain access to the sheep.

The shepherd goes by the door, which is the legitimate “WAY” to the sheepfold; the robber/thief goes by “some other way”.

They must climb over a wall, and by so doing, they are exalting themselves. A true under-shepherd of Messiah Jesus Christ never exalts himself, but only Jesus/Yeshua – and Him alone (Luke 18:14)!

Any true shepherd will enter in among God’s sheep by THE WAY, just as our Chief Shepherd (as written in the Scripture, 1 Pet 5:4) is Himself – the Way.

False shepherds – who are in fact robbers and thieves, taking possession of that which does not belong to them, neither by purchase – (Jesus/Yeshua purchased us, His sheep, by His blood; Acts. 20:28) – nor by stewardship – (those that God has accounted as acceptable as His ‘under-shepherds’ 2 Cor. 3:1-6).

Both Acts and 2Peter warn us that there are those who are self-appointed authorities in today’s world, who claim to speak for God in the church, but are actually enemies of the cross (Phil. 3:18-19) and have risen up in our midst to draw others away from the Good Shepherd and into error and apostasy (Acts. 20:29-31; 2 Pet. 2:1).

Sheepfolds can still be seen today in parts of UK/Europe.

There was only ONE tree of Life in the Garden of Eden.

There was only ONE door in Noah’s ark; any who would seek salvation from the coming flood would have to enter in there – there was no second door.

There was only ONE way that led into the Temple’s Holy Place and the inner chamber the Holy of Holies – there wasn’t a multiple choice!

Likewise, there is just ONE door, ONE way to salvation – and that is Messiah; and The WAY to God’s sheep is by the DOOR.

There are many examples of Doors in the scriptures. One is Revelation 4:1 – …I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven.

“In the Spirit,” John goes through the open door into Heaven and in Rev.3:8, Philadelphia was given an “open door” to spread the Gospel unhindered.

The “open door” in Heaven is different. This open door is the physical entrance to the Kingdom of God, which today is still in Heaven. It will be open to those that had already spiritually entered the door to Heaven upon salvation and closed to those not saved:

Luke 13:23-28 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.

It is only through Jesus that we (the “sheep”) can enter the Kingdom (the pasture):

John 10:1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter through the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up by another way, that one is a thief and a robber. 2 “But he who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 “The doorkeeper opens for him, and the sheep hear his voice. And he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 “And when he has brought out his own sheep, he goes before them. And the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. 5 “And they shall by no means follow a stranger, but shall flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 יהושע used this figure of speech, but they did not know what He had been saying to them. 7 יהושע therefore said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 “I am the door. Whoever enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and find pasture.

10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to slaughter, and to destroy. I have come that they might possess life, and that they might possess it beyond measure. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12 “But the hireling, and not being a shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees. And the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them. 13 “Now the hireling flees because he is a hireling and is not concerned about the sheep. 14 “I am the good shepherd.1 And I know Mine, and Mine know Me, Footnote: 1Ezek. 34:11-12, Heb. 13:20, 1 Peter 2:25, 1 Peter 5:4. 15 even as the Father knows Me, and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold – I have to bring them as well, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

1Ezek. 34:23, Ezek. 37:24. 17 “Because of this the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, in order to receive it again.Joh 10:18 “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

There is an interesting point in

Exodus 21:6 then his master shall bring him before Elohim, and shall bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl. And he shall serve him forever.

As we have read in John, Jesus/Yeshua is the DOOR.

It is not insignificant that the town of Silwan the area where Jesus/Yeshua was nailed to the tree means pillar or post as in a door.

When we are nailed to the door we are in fact committing ourselves for ever to Jesus/Yeshua.

Remember the fact that Jesus/Yeshua was sacrificed at the door or the same side as the entrance to the east side of the Temple as was the Passover Lamb. It
was His blood that was shed at the door to Father’s house. Even the two door posts were made from Olive trees also known as the two witnesses.

In Eze 46:1 ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “The gate of the inner courtyard facing east is shut the six days of work, but on the Sabbath it is opened, and on the day of the New Moon it is opened. 2 “And the prince shall enter by way of the porch of that gate from the outside, and he shall stand by the post. And the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings. And he shall bow himself at the threshold of the gate, and shall go out, but the gate is not shut until evening. 3 “And the people of the land shall also bow themselves at the entrance to this gate before יהוה, on the Sabbaths and on the New Moons. 4 “And the burnt offering which the prince brings to יהוה on the Sabbath day is six lambs, perfect ones, and a ram, a perfect one. 5 “And the grain offering is one ĕphah for a ram, and the grain offering for the lambs, a gift of his hand, and a hin of oil for an ĕphah. 6 “And on the day of the New Moon: a young bull, a perfect one, six lambs, and a ram, they should be perfect.

This is all symbolic of the 7th Millennium when the door will be open and not shut. It is shut for the other six days of work.

Jesus/Yeshua is to be King during this 7th Millennium and He is the DOOR by which we must enter and cross over the THRESHOLD. It is His blood that has made the CARPET RED for our coming.

We read of the same in the Prodigal son in Luke 15:23 ‘And bring the fattened calf here and slaughter it, and let us eat and rejoice,

When this calf is killed it is done at the threshold of the door. The son is being given the red carpet treatment. The older brother never got this treatment because he was already in the house with the father.

I Am the Door

The Greek words translated “I am” occur exactly 37 times in the NT (in referring to the LORD).

I AM: Εγω ειμι

In Hebrew I Am is Anochi.

Strong’s Hebrew: 595. אָנֹכִי; (anoki)

 אָנֹכִי       ;

Phonetic Spelling: (aw-no-kee’)
Short Definition: myself

No doubt the most famous statement ever uttered in all of history begins with an unusual four-letter word: Anochi. The Ten Commandments.

Fire and smoke poured from the mountain and the earth shook. The entire Community of Israel stood together in awe at the foot of Sinai as the Divine Presence thrust them into profound revelation. The thunder of awakening surged through each heart and mind as a transcendent voice spoke out: Anochi Ha-Shem Elokecha.

The literal translation of this thunder is “I am The Name, your God.” Whereas the people of Israel received this realization in an explosive flash, we can receive this truth gradually by examining and thinking on the mystical meanings contained in these three words:

Anochi is the Divine ‘I’ — a description of the Divine Self.

Hashem – as in “The Name” refers to God’s attribute of Infinity, that is ‘beyond’ and transcendent.

Elokecha, (also called Elokim,) is a plural term, referring to the Divinity that interfaces with the finite world of multiplicity: meaning, “your personal God.”

Anochi is a synonym for etzem or atzmus, meaning “Essence”—the ultimate context and totality of Reality. Essence is no-thing and every-thing, and yet it is neither nothing nor everything.

The “I” of Anochi is not only the I of existence, manifestation or form, it is also

the “I” of thing, and

the “I” of no-thing,

the “I” of finite and

the “I” of infinite,

the “I” of fullness and

the “I” of emptiness.

As the Israelites received the revelation of Anochi, they experienced their own limited human existence and at the same time, the unlimited Divine Existence in the absence of conflict.

In this revelation, there was no duality, only Unity. Nothing exists outside of Essence, thus Essence cannot be “experienced” ― our own self-consciousness distances our minds and ourselves from the experience.

Although Essence is beyond the finite and the infinite, it also embraces and constitutes both of them. For this reason, Essence probably holds the key to resolving the connection between the finite and the infinite, the natural and the spiritual.

We cannot become that which we already are so the process may be simply a matter of revelation. Again we need a personal apocalypse which comes from communication and developing relationship with the Father who is spirit; and this could be a meaning behind Jesus words in John 4:24, God is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Because God is a Spirit, He longs to have fellowship/communion with our spirits where He can reveal answers to these questions. We need to meet Him Spirit-to-spirit. We should approach Him humbly, transparently, and honestly, withholding nothing. Also recognizing who He is, and realizing who we are in His presence. We need to not be reticent but rather fully embrace the spiritual side of our beliefs. We walk so easily in the carnal physical realm and miss so much that He is trying to impart to our spiritually hungry hearts.

The word means ‘I,’ referring to God – I the Lord Your God took you out of Egypt… But ‘ani’ is the common Hebrew pronoun for ‘I.’

Explained in the Talmud (Shabbat 105a), that Anochi is an acronym for Ana Nafshi Ketovit Yehovit. Simply translated: I Myself wrote [these words and] gave [them to you].

But on closer inspection the actual translation is far more intriguing: I wrote down My very Soul and gave it to you.

Or more poetically: My Soul is inscribed in these words that I gave you.

Anochi captures the essence and purpose of all existence: To inscribe and reveal the soul in our every word and in our every experience.

The opening of the Ten Commandments, Anochi, defines the essence of life’s purpose, of all our interactions and of all our words – to manifest the unifying soul in our fragmented universe.

Had God not inscribed His soul into the words, our relationship with the Divine would have probably remained detached.

ANOCHI

אָנֹכִי

John 10:9 I am the DALET/DOOR and

John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life:

no man comes to the Father, but by me unless the Father draws him. (John 6:65)

It seems very restrictive, however, so is the narrow WAY and the natural man has no ability to come to God, nor does he even have the desire to come. Because his heart is hard and his mind is darkened, the unregenerate person doesn’t desire God and according to Romans 5:10 is actually an enemy of God.

The days of shepherds in Jesus/Yeshua’s time were simple and when He said I AM the Door they understood the concept perfectly. We have doors of wood glass metal etc., and many places have people on duty by those doors. Their job it is to guard the entrance but that individual is not expected to take the place of the door, merely to enforce the boundaries that it represents.

Today the door is still open. Seek him now, while He may be found. There will come a day when there will be no such option… just as happened to those in Noah’s day…and God closed the door. This is also reflected in the Fall Feast, Yom Teruah/Trumpets where the end of the ceremony is called Neilah means closing the gates.

Enter through the narrow WAY into the joy of the lord. Joy is the fullness of the relationship we have been developing and that is the key and secret of the believer’s strength.

The Anochi, the I AM, Shepherd of the flock, is the Dalet, the Door, as we wait on the threshold to enter into our heavenly future; just as He was the Dalet, when we came into His sheepfold crossing the threshold of New Birth. He and the Father are One/Echad and we are indeed on the threshold of a divine portal.

Please, don’t leave this page until..

you are sure you are through the DOOR and safely in the sheep fold.. He is calling YOU today..

we all need to born again from above..His Mercy and Grace are all you need…for therein is His forgiveness.

Make certain Messiah Jesus/Yeshua is your Redeemer, Savior, Lord and soon returning King and that you have a personal relationship with Him.

Its all about Life and Relationship, NOT Religion.

You are greatly loved and precious in His sight.

NOT SURE? YOU CAN BE..

SAY THE FOLLOWING FROM YOUR HEART RIGHT NOW…

Heavenly Father I come to you in the Name of Jesus/Yeshua asking for forgiveness of my sins for which I am truly sorry. I repent of them all and turn away from my past.

I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus/Yeshua is your Son and that He died on the cross at calvary to pay the price for my sin, so that I might be forgiven and have eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven. Father I believe that Jesus/Yeshua rose from the dead and I ask you to come into my life right now and be my personal Savior and Lord and I will worship you all the days of my life. Because your word is truth I say that I am now forgiven and born again and by faith I am washed clean with the blood of Jesus/Yeshua. Thank you that you have accepted me into your family in Jesus’/Yeshua’s name. Amen.

A Mysterious Broken Vav, A Spear And A Bone?…

The genealogy of the High Priests was focused on in previous posts…

High Priest in Hebrew: כהן גדול – kohen gadol;

With definite article:  ha’kohen ha’gadol,

                              the high priest;

In Aramaic: kahana rabba.

Recall that the High Priests belonged to the Jewish priestly families and traced their paternal line back to Aaron.  He was the elder brother of Moses, through Zadok, a leading priest at the time of David and Solomon. This tradition came to an end in the 2nd century BC during the rule of the Hasmoneans, when the position was occupied by other priestly families unrelated to Zadok.

Even though Aaron was the first High Priest mentioned in the Book of Exodus, the legendary passage revealed the first man who assumed the title of High Priest of God was Enoch. He was succeeded by Methuselah, Lamech, Noah, Shem, (or Melchi zedek), Abraham, Isaac and Levi.

These priests are referred to as ‘descendants of Aaron,’ in the biblical traditions drawn upon by the writer of Chronicles. Aaron had 4 sons:  Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. However, Nadab and Abihu died before Aaron (incident of offering strange fire); so only Eleazar and Ithamar had sons. Chronicles records, one priest, Zadok, from Eleazar’s descendants and another priest, Ahimelech, from Ithamar’s descendants, were designated by King David to help create the various priestly work groups.

Aaron received from the Lord the promise of priesthood, it meant his children and their descendants would be part of the Levite priestly class called the Kohanim.

At the time his grandson Phineas had already been born, which meant he did not automatically receive the honor of Kohanim; and possibly also due to the fact that Phineas’s father, Eleazar, had a wife who was a Gentile. Exodus 6:25. She was a daughter of Jethro, a former Midianite priest called Putiel.

With these facts in mind, this post is connected to Aaron’s grandson, Phineas.

Phineas performed a very serious act during the rebellion at Baal Peor recorded in Numbers 25:10 – 30:1.

He killed a Prince of the tribe of Simeon, Zimri, (son of Zurishaddai, called Shelumiel;) because Zimri was engaged in rampant immorality with Cozbi a princess of Midian.

Those that were following Zimri’s leadership, as head of the tribe of Simeon, were the ones that partook the most in the sin of their leader.

Because of this blatant rebellion against Torah, a plague broke out amongst the people and 24,000 people died from this terrible disobedience.

If it was not for the zealous and righteous anger of Phineas, perhaps the entire tribe of Simeon would have been destroyed.

The plague affecting Israel was stopped by God due to Phineas’ zeal.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/num/25/11/t_conc_142011

קִנְאָה –  qin’ah – in my jealousy.

It took something to kill a family member, from one of the 12 tribes, and he would have had to count the cost. Here is another example of the sacrifice of the lives of the few for the many.

Phineas took a spear (the instrument by which sin was judged/death) and went into the tent and killed both the Zimri, his Israelite relative and his mistress.

Following this righteous act showing zeal for his God, the Lord rewarded him by making him a Kohen, Priest and promised him a covenant of peace.

He blessed him for his action because his heart motive was truly out of concern to stop any further deaths of the children of Israel that had been caused by these two individuals.

There is a spiritual principle here with this action, showing how to stop the plague of death, which is the consequences of sin.

This story tells us that the plague was not going to stop until someone paid with their life for Israel’s sins. In this case, we discover that it was the leaders of the rebellion that had to die to save the sins of their brothers.

Jesus/Yeshua did the same for us. Did He not take upon Himself the sin of all the people, shouldering all of it Himself? Was He not also thrust with a spear causing the life-giving water and blood to flow for all mankind?

(Spear, the instrument by which sin was judged and His death confirmed!)

Was not the plague of the law of sin and death destroyed the second He breathed His last?

It is Finished!

Behold I am giving to him my covenant of peace.Hineni noten lo et-beriti shalom.

Hebrew word for covenant is Berit

(which is also a popular Norwegian/Scandanavian name)

The Hebrew word berit, is most often used to express the idea of covenant, and originally meant a shackle or chain.Later it came to mean any form of binding agreement. The covenant in the Biblical contexts combines God’s free offer of a special relationship and the people’s willing response in faith by agreeing to take the obligation to worship and obey only this God, Yahweh.

This was a further promised for his descendants, as a covenant of a perpetual priesthood, brit kehunat olam;(because he had been zealous for his God and made kafar/ atonement for all of Israel.)

Here it would appear, is a clear type of Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah and His Greater Priesthood; those of whom He is First-Fruit.

The copying of scrolls was the only way to reproduce the Torah and it was critical the scribes made certain to keep the Scriptures unaltered over the generations since Moses.

Because of this there are strict guidelines concerning the writing of the Scriptures.

It is called, ‘Soferut Laws for Sefrei Torah’.

Writing Torah requires that each letter to be well-formed in the Hebrew script. No letters must touch other letters.

None can be badly formed, illegible or broken!

Here is the mystery of the broken VAV

In the ancient scrolls, Numbers 25:12, there is an exception to this rule.

It concerns only the Hebrew letter VAV.

This letter is part of the word Shalom

as it is normally written but here it is like this.. (m o l sha – in the Hebrew letters reading from r to l.)

Recall the Pardes of the last post and the levels of understanding in the Scriptures; like the layers of an onion.

Peshat- literal- the plain meaning – Pinchas righteous indignation the census and the holy days.

Remez – just beyond the literal = God’s character = a God of Salvation Redemption = Hidden glimpses of promised Messiahbroken VAV and in the 7 Appointed times of the year – moedim = application for us in our lives today – to be on fire for Him zealous in our love.

DRASH –to seek deeper by comparison- anomalies such as Enlarged letters e.g. broken vav small yod and enlarged nun– symbolism.

SOD further research e.g.– Dead sea scrolls and Gematria numbers equaling the value of each letter and torah code.

And look at this broken VAV on a SOD (Mystery) level.

This broken VAV is a picture of the broken-ness of the Messiah for our ultimate deliverance, our salvation.

How is this possible as Jesus/Yeshua never had a broken bone in His body?

How was He broken for us?

Here the letter vav represents the number of man, six, and the broken vav represents a man that is broken.

In this verse, (pasuk), the man has been broken for the sake of a covenant of peace that brought atonement to Israel, a clear picture of Messiah Yeshua and His ultimate deliverance and restoration for us.

The ‘broken word’ shalom, can also be read as  שָׁלֵם – shalem.

(Phonetic spelling – shaw-lame)

Meaning COMPLETE, which indicates that the covenant is one of finality, perfection and completion.Repairer of the breach.

Restorer – bringing complete reconciliation to the broken relationship between God and man,

the broken covenant renewed,

He came to heal the broken hearted. He came to heal the broken in spirit those who have been crushed by the serpent, whose head He came to crush. When we think of His brokenness as He told us to do in remembrance of Him, at the breaking of bread. He says it in His own words this is My Body, BROKEN for you. He is the Bread of Heaven and of Life.

Manna = the pieces that are made at the breaking, it’s the spiritual connecting of each of us into one body of believers. One New Man.

We, as Messianic believers, understand that the promise to Phineas. It was a clear fore-telling of the Glory of the Greater Priesthood of Yeshua/Jesus, after the Order of Melchi-zedek, indestructible and everlasting.

The glory which is REVEALED to those who the Father has called. The same resurrection glory that raised Yeshua/Jesus from the dead WILL quicken our mortal bodies and make us alive in Him.

The broken vav promises us that His is restored.

Remembering from a previous Post that the vav, (in the paleo hebrew alef bet), is the…

The nail, peg, hook, symbolizing joining together; making sure; becoming bound; nailed to.

The nail that secures!

It is written in the Hebrew Scriptures of Deut. 5:15 that the Lord made the heavens and the earth by the Zeroah.

So it was by the Zeroah that everything we see, the universe itself, came into existence.

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Jer. 32:17

When He brought the Hebrews out of Egypt on Passover, with miracles and wonders it is written that He did so by the Zeroah; and concerning salvation, it is written that the Lord will make known His Zeroah and all the earth will see the salvation of God.

Isaiah 53 contains the prophecy of one who will be wounded and crushed/BROKEN for our sins who will die for our judgment and who by His death will bring us healing life and redemption.

The ancient rabbis identified this one as the Messiah.

The opening verse of the chapter Isaiah 53, ‘who has believed our report and to whom has the Zeroah of the Lord been REVEALED?

The Zeroah is the one who dies for our sins and it is also the BONE of a LAMB which is the most mysterious object on the Passover table.

 https://www.minimannamoments.com/midweek-mannabite-secrets-of-the-seder-plate/

The death of the Lamb would be the death of Messiah and connects back to Isaiah 53. Zeroah however, was also there at creation because the Zeroah is the power of God, that which accomplishes the will of God is the arm/Zeroah of the Almighty. The first letter of Zeroah is Z – In Hebrew, Zayin.

Zayin and the Crownlets: Zayin is the 7th letter. The pictograph for Zayin looks like a sword. In the classical script the Vav on its head there is a large crown! There are 3 marks on the top of the letter Zayin. 8 hebrew letters are given this special mark by attaching to them 3 crownlets or ‘tagin’.The mystery of the ZAYIN is that its considered a crowned VAV. In the same way the VAV represents ‘Yashar’ – a straight line from God to man- so ZAYIN represents ‘or chozer’ or ‘returning light’. It is in itself a paradox meaning both ‘weapon/sword’ yet derives its root from a word meaning ‘nourishment/sustenance’. The word for war milchamah contains the word lechem/bread. Sometimes war = fighting for survival and therefore able to find food and be nourished.

They are collectively called ‘sha’atnezgets’ letters. Some sages comment that they are small zaynin (swords) and function as spiritual weapons e.g.in Ps.91

Zayin is the Crowned Man (Yeshua/Jesus) equipped with the Sword of Holy Spirit/Ruach HaKodesh. It is not hard to see that, since VAV represents MAN and ZAYIN is the crowned VAV (that is the Crowned Man), it is clear that ZAYIN represents Messiah Yeshua, the true King of the Jews while Zayin also represents a sword = the Word of God and Holy Spirit.

And here is another paradox, the arm of the Almighty, who was witnessed as weak, BROKEN and dying on a cross – was the manifested love of God and there is no greater power than that – dying to self that we might find life.

If we have ever dropped anything on the floor and seen it shattered into a million pieces, we know that there is no hope of ever putting it back together. Even if we glue every bit, it would never be the same as it was before. Jesus/Yeshua is the great renewer. The first mention of the re-new-ed covenant was to Jeremiah in the Hebrew Scriptures, Jeremiah 31:31 – 34. Telling of the covenant that had been broken, so it would seem that the re-new-ed covenant is born of brokenness.

It exists because of brokenness and it was first spoken of in the days when the land of Israel lay in ruins in the wake of judgment.

It’s the covenant God made for those who had fallen from grace, a covenant for the broken.

The covenant is not just for Israel but is given to everyone and its nature is the same for all.All have sinned – all have BROKEN His precepts – we have all failed – all fallen and become BROKEN in someway.

So the re-new-ed covenant, is the covenant God gives to all who have sinned, all who have failed and fallen; and all who should have no hope of any covenant with God, those who don’t deserve it. It’s the covenant He makes with them regardless of what ever they have done and it has a very special power.

It is the power to put together that which is BROKEN.

The power of restoration and healing.

The power to pick up and bring together all the broken pieces of our lives. The covenant of the BROKEN –  the VAV – symbolizing joining together, making sure, becoming bound, nailed to. The nail that secures. Hosea 14:4 – 7; John 8:9 – 11

There is another mystery, a secret hidden in the translation and it can only be seen in the original language.

 John 19:23–24; 1John 3:16.

It’s in the question that says, ‘to whom has the ARM of the lord been REVEALED?’

Revealed in Hebrew is niglatah.MI HE’EMIN LISHMU’ATEINU UZERO’A HASHEM AL-MI NIGLATAH?

Who has believed our report and to whom is the arm of Hashem revealed?

Isaiah/YESHAYAH 53:1

Messiah Yeshua/Jesus is the ‘arm of the Lord’

These words open the 4th and last of Isaiah’s ‘Servant Songs’, 4 prophecies describing the “Eved Adonai”, the “Servant of Adonai”, Who suffers and dies. The Arm/Zeroah of The Lord is REVEALED to those open to seeing it, even right here.

The arm of The Lord is being revealed in this very question.

It’s in the word galah גָּלָה

גָּלָה Strongs H1540 https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H1540&t=KJV

גָּלָה gâlâh, gaw-law’; a primitive root; to denude (especially in a disgraceful sense); by implication, to exile (captives being usually stripped); figuratively, to reveal:— advertise, appear, bewray, bring, (carry, lead, go) captive (into captivity), depart, disclose, discover, exile, be gone, open, plainly, publish, remove, reveal, shamelessly, shew, surely, tell, uncover.

Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon.

Revealed is a translation of the Hebrew word niglatah but niglatah means much more than revealed. Niglatah means to be taken captive.

The KJV translates Strong’s H1540 in the following manner:

 uncover (34x), discover (29x),

 captive (28x), carry away (22x),

 reveal (16x), open (12x),

 captivity (11x), shew (9x),

 remove (6x), appear (3x),

So the arm/zeroah of the Lord, the power of God will be taken captive. The Messiah was taken into captivity, arrested he became a prisoner.Niglatah also means to put to shame/disgraced.

So the arm of the Lord will be put to shame and disgraced.

Messiah was put to shame mocked degraded and condemned as a blasphemer. And niglatah also means stripped, naked, exposed and laid back. So the arm of the Lord will be stripped, naked and exposed. So Messiah was stripped of His garments and exposed ‘naked’* on the cross.

(*The Hebrew understanding of naked means, to remove all clothing except a loin cloth.)

It is the most famous image in this world, that of one who has been taken captive, stripped, naked and exposed.

It’s the arm of the Lord revealed the power of the almighty. But how could the strongest power in existence be revealed in the death of a naked man on the cross?

That is the revelation of the arm of God the strongest force in the universe the power of the almighty the power of love.

Most religions teach that salvation comes from the one who needs to be saved, an arm reaching up to heaven.

Only one message is different – the Gospel.Salvation is just the opposite:

It’s an arm, the zeroah of the Lamb of God reaching down from heaven.

We need to stop struggling and striving to be good enough.

Stop seeking to save ourselves. We can’t, and we don’t have to.

Messiah is Heaven’s ARM reaching down to us.

In biblical prophecy, its the Zeroah, the Arm of God. Wherever we are, wherever we’re not, just grasp on to heaven’s arm and He will do the rest. Not only does this story tell us that in order to receive life more abundantly, you must first die to the flesh and take up our cross and follow Him, it also tells us how Father/Yahweh feels about people that are sold out and zealous for Him.

He loves people with zeal and passion, people that love what He loves and hate what He hates.

In the story of Phineas IS The REVEALING.  The Niglatah, the baring of God’s Holy Arm was personified as a type of Messiah in Phineas (priest) with His spear the instrument of his zeal to save his family the children (sheep) of Israel. The broken covenant symbolized by the broken VAV in shalom/peace was restored by His zeal as fulfilled in Yeshua as the sacrificial lamb on Passover, the Zeroah/arm of Pesach.

In the brokenness, due to the severing of the connection with His Father, when He said, ‘why have you forsaken Me’? Sin causes separation from God.

His substitutionary sacrifice was the restorer of the breach, (of the relationship that was breached/broken); and we are now reconciled to the Father and this IS the gospel message.

We are ministers of reconciliation telling of the promise of the Berit Shalom – His covenant of peace – which was there in the VAV, the nail, that secures and joins together that which was broken. He was broken that we may be made whole.

The Hebrew word ‘kanaw’ qana’ קָנָא means: zealous, jealous, competitive.

It carries with it the idea that no one can come between you and the one you love – jealous for God.Love is stronger than death – it’s the glue that holds everything together and is revealed… with

a broken vav,

a shank bone of a sacrificial lamb,

the zeroah arm of the Lord given in love,

for a covenant of peace,

with our High Priest after the order of Melchi-zedek,

Who is alone the One who can put everything back together.

His brokenness was not in His BONEs but

in a better WAY of TRUTH that leads to LIFE.

Derek – Emet – Chaim = Yeshua/Jesus
