Are There Treasures In Darkness?

Isaiah 45:3 I will give you the treasures of darkness and the riches hidden in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by name. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

The treasures of darkness?…

This is a curious phrase in verse 3.

The previous verse says

2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: KJV

NASB: ‘I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.

These verses are a promise from our Heavenly Father that He will

make the WAY before us straight and smooth

by removing any obstacles that would hinder our progress

or, stop us moving forward by barring our path.

This implies, level the hilly places; as pioneers do.

I will go before thee — To remove all obstructions, and prepare the way for thee.

Some other translations:

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
And I shall give you treasures that are in darkness and hidden, buried things, that you may know that I AM LORD JEHOVAH, for I, The God of Israel, have called you by your name

Young’s Literal Translation
And have given to thee treasures of darkness, Even treasures of secret places, So that thou knowest that I, Jehovah, Who am calling on thy name — am the God of Israel.

JPS Tanakh 1917
And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, And hidden riches of secret places, That thou mayest know that I am the LORD, Who call thee by thy name, even the God of Israel.

Douay-Rheims Bible
And I will give thee hidden treasures, and the concealed riches of secret places: that thou mayest know that I am the Lord who call thee by thy name, the God of Israel.

The verse always makes the reader wonder…

Why would our Heavenly Father even want to give us something from darkness?

Doesn’t the scripture tell us He is Light?

King James Bible
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
And this is The Good News that we have heard from him and we evangelize to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness at all in him.

Berean Literal Bible
And this is the message that we have heard from Him and we preach to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

Young’s Literal Translation
And this is the message that we have heard from Him, and announce to you, that God is light, and darkness in Him is not at all;

Most believers would say they

do not want anything

from the dark side.

Isaiah 45:3: “And I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places that you will know that I, the Lord, who called you by your name am the God of Israel.”

Isaiah 45: 2 tells us that God is going to open and make the trail for us as we journey in our calling and His plan for our lives.

In verse 3 He then tells us how He is going to equip us.

He is going to give us the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places.

Do we ever stop to think about it, what are the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places.

If we want to understand what our Father is saying to us, there are four Hebrew words we should look at; and by examining the Hebrew terms from which they originate, and the form in which they are rendered, we may get a picture or concept that is easier for us to understand.

The first two are orsaroth –  choshek

(treasures of darkness).

אוֹצְר֣וֹת 214 orsaroth

ר֣ צְ א

חֹ֔שֶׁךְ

choshek Strongs# 2822.

The word

treasure (orsaroth)

comes from the root word:

  ’asar

ר֣ צְ א

This word has the idea of:

a storehouse, or treasures that are laid up but not lost.

As the first thing that comes to our mind in western culture is something of monetary value, such as diamonds, jewelry, gold coins etc., in this context,  treasure would be a misleading word to use here.

This treasure referred to in this verse is:

a treasure of knowledge.

Which we are encouraged in Proverbs to

get knowledge get understanding

which means:

learn how to wisely apply the knowledge you have been given!

King James Bible Proverbs 4:5
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

King James Bible Proverbs 23:23
Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

The Hebrew word asar is spelled:

Aleph, Sade and Resh

ר֣ צְ א

and the combination of these letters tells us that this is:

knowledge pertaining to/of God’s love and power.

The word for

darkness in Hebrew

is (choshek) chosheke

also expresses the idea of:

being obscure or hidden.

Seems like a contradiction?

 saying orsaroth is:

a treasure that is not lost.

However is Isaiah drawing a picture for us here?

We must consider when this word was given which was during the reign of Josiah.

And because of the sinfulness of the people, at this time

the Torah, was hidden, BUT it was not lost!

During Josiahs’ reign the Torah was discovered buried deep in the royal archives.

Is it possible that the treasures of darkness here refers to:

the deep mysteries of God stored away in His Word?

It is not hidden anymore than a library book is hidden on a bookshelf or library, or an item in our basements, attics or storage units; they’re there for us to access anytime we want. We may have to spend some time searching for it, trying to remember which box it’s in. It is the same with scripture, the more we study it the easier it is to find the treasures of knowledge within.

The next two words are:

matemenu misetarim

hidden riches of secret places.

Misetarim ם מִסְתָּרִ֑י

(secret places) comes from the root word

sathar

which is the word for

hidden, concealed or secret.

Matemenu  מַטְמֻנֵ֖י

comes from the root word

tamak /taman

נֵ֖ מַ טְ

which has the preposition

from in front of it

and is used to express

hidden, concealed or protected treasures of knowledge.

We could express this as:

hidden riches of knowledge from concealed or protected places.

In other words,

taman /tamak knowledge

is not as easy to get to as

 asar or treasure.

To get

treasure – asar

all we have to do is simply

search for it.

To get

tamak – knowledge

we will need something more.

Further trust…

A picture to help us to understand this may be for example: there are some legal documents that are referred to as being public record and are available for anyone to read. There are other records and documents deemed as classified and an individual needs a certain amount of security or level of clearance to access them.

In order to obtain that security clearance a person will have to prove both a genuine need for these documents and the integrity required to be entrusted with the knowledge they contain.  This trust must be earned through faithfulness and correct handling.

Knowledge of our Heavenly Father is open to everyone, such as knowledge of His love, His plan of salvation, etc.

And then there is knowledge which according to scripture is hidden (hidden riches of secret places).

For access to this knowledge we will need…

the cleansing work of the blood of Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach, the power of His Holy Spirit and a personal relationship with the author; the One who has placed knowledge where it can only be found by those truly seeking the heart of the Father.

It appears that there are two levels of knowledge and many people are content with that which is easily accessible.  Few seem willing to earn the trust of our Heavenly Father, to seek His heart and receive the security clearance into the hidden riches of secret places.

Surely our desire to know His heart will open the way to His deep hidden secrets?

Treasure – Atsar or asar

Alef   א ox strength first

ר֣ צְ

צְ tsadik fishhook hook

Tzsar – trouble

Tsar is the hooked man

ר֣ resh reysh head person

To store gather accumulate

Tzsr – to press into someone or something

So we may conclude that in preparing the path ahead of where we are to walk, and as long as we are walking with Him in obedient relationship, He has removed every hindering thing that we may encounter.

Furthermore, as our trust and faith in His complete provision for our lives causes our relationship with our Heavenly Father to become deeper and more intimate; we earn His trust in us and as we continue to seek His heart the hidden riches of secret places are revealed.

We are led to the deep mysteries of God stored away in His Word.

They are hidden concealed BUT not lost.

Jesus/Yeshua said He had come to reveal things hidden from the foundation of the world in.

Matthew 13:35

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Amplified Bible
This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: “I WILL OPEN MY MOUTH IN PARABLES; I WILL UTTER THINGS [unknown and unattainable] THAT HAVE BEEN HIDDEN [from mankind] SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.”

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
So that the thing that was spoken by the Prophet would be fulfilled which says, “I shall open my mouth in parables and I shall declare things hidden from before the foundation of the world.”

Berean Literal Bible
so that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken by the prophet, saying: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.”

King James Bible
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Matthew 13:35
So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Berean Standard Bible
I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the beginning,

King James Bible
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Amplified Bible
I will open my mouth in a parable [to instruct using examples]; I will utter dark and puzzling sayings of old [that contain important truth]

Young’s Literal Translation
I open with a simile my mouth, I bring forth hidden things of old,

Peshitta Holy Bible Translated
For behold, I shall open my mouth in proverbs and I shall speak in parables of a former time.

Lamsa Bible
I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter proverbs of old.

Jesus/Yeshua said quoting from Psalm 78:2

So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Jesus/Yeshua says in Luke 8:10

“And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.”

Matt 13:11 & Mark 4:11

Many times as Yeshua/Jesus spoke, His disciples didn’t understand what He meant.

Why was this so?  Wasn’t Yeshua/Jesus “God manifest in the flesh?”

Surely the words that Messiah spoke are the very scriptures we have today, so why didn’t they understand them? One would think that if God personally spoke it would be easy to understand what He meant?

Some of the people listening to Jesus/Yeshua misunderstood what He said because it was not given to them to understand.  Even though they had natural ears which could hear, the spiritual ears of their hardened hearts could not receive what Messiah said. Our Father says,

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14

Messiah states that it was given to His disciples/talmidim to understand while it was not given to others. It seems that, in order for even those disciples /talmidim who were closest to Him to comprehend His words, it had to be revealed to them.  In their case, Jesus/Yeshua revealed the truth to them personally.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

10He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

11 “Now [the meaning of] the parable is this: The seed is the word of God [concerning eternal salvation].

Mark 4:9Then Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11He replied, “The mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is expressed in parables,

Like the disciples, It is also possible for us to hear the words of Jesus/Yeshua but not understand them. Unless it isgiven unto us to know the mystery of the kingdom of God” we cannot understand what He says.

We rely upon His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth and the only way we can truly hear that truth, is through revelation given to our spirits, because everything that originates in the mind of our Heavenly Father is a mystery to our flesh.

Truthfully, we are supposed to live by His spirit, not by our flesh, and the study of the scriptures should be to search to see if these things are true.

Why?

that thou mayest know that I am the Lord who call thee by thy name, the God of Israel.

The conclusion is that Our Father Himself says

this is the reason for the previous verses…

that we may know He is the lord who calls us by our name He is the God of Israel

Calling us by name is the intimacy of a relationship on first name basis. Where two people are on first name terms and trust one another to confide things not shared with casual acquaintances.

The God of all creation through Yeshua/Jesus by the power of His Spirit of Holiness is now dwelling within us as His children and trusted disciples/talmidim. We have available to us the secrets of His kingdom, hidden from the foundation of the world.

Are we truly taking advantage of what He has opened to us?

It’s there for the asking… These are the real

treasures of darkness,

hidden only to be revealed to those it has been given to understand…

What treasures are we seeking?

Is it worldly success, wealth, comfort, natural resources, leisure, pleasure, or are we, the deep calling unto deep, desiring the true wealth of the treasure of the kingdom of the heavens.

Are we seeking spiritual gifts of supernatural and eternal value and endurance? The treasures that moth and rust can never destroy and nothing can take from us?

There is a darkness that is bad….

but this darkness is not bad

or evil or to be feared;

it is simply a cover waiting to be lifted

by hungry hearts seeking to know our Father more intimately.

The more we come to know Him, the stronger and deeper the relationship becomes, the more He will give us by…

opening the treasures of darkness to us and

revealing the riches stored, hidden in secret places,

so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel,

who calls you by name.

Will we answer His call today?

Do we want to dig deeper

and

grow stronger

with our foundation on the ROCK

we will not be moved or shaken?

Please don’t leave here without assurance of your salvation

and a deep inner knowing

that your life is firmly founded on none other than

the Rock of Ages..

He only is my rock and my salvation;

he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Make certain Messiah Jesus/Yeshua is your Redeemer,

Savior, Lord, and soon returning King

and that you have a personal relationship with Him.

It’s all about Life and Relationship, NOT Religion.

You are very precious in His sight.

SIMPLY SAY THE FOLLOWING MEANING IT FROM YOUR HEART..don’t delay one more minute, SAY IT RIGHT NOW…

Heavenly Father I come to you in the Name of Jesus/Yeshua asking for forgiveness of my sins for which I am truly sorry. I repent of them all and turn away from my past.

I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus/Yeshua is your Son and that He died on the cross at calvary to pay the price for my sin, so that I might be forgiven and have eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven. Father I believe that Jesus/Yeshua rose from the dead and I ask you to come into my life right now and be my personal Savior and Lord and I will worship you all the days of my life. Because your word is truth I say that I am now forgiven and born again and by faith I am washed clean with the blood of Jesus/Yeshua. Thank you that you have accepted me into your family in Jesus’/Yeshua’s name.

Whats In Your Naos? Part 2

Before part 2, here is a brief summary of the Tabernacle, included for the benefit of
any readers who may not have seen previous posts…

Exodus 25 through 40.

The Tabernacle was the Place

Ha Makem’- ‘The Place’-המקום

where God would meet with His people, Israel.

However, before the Tabernacle was constructed God met with Moses in a temporary tent of meeting:

Moses would pitch a tent outside and some distance away from the camp of Israel.

Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting – OUTSIDE the camp.

As Moses went into the tent of meeting,

the pillar of cloud would come down

and stay at the entrance,

while the Lord spoke with Moses face-to-face.

The face to face meeting; פָנִים

Strongs 6440: panim or paneh

Phonetic Spelling: (paw-neem’)

(Moses met with Him in the Mishkan),

This is recorded in Exodus 33:7, 9.

Moses set up the tent of meeting as instructed by the LORD OUTSIDE of the camp of Israel..

because the Israelites had betrayed, and broken fellowship with Him at Mt. Sinai with the making and worship of the golden calf.

This was disobedience and faithlessness that God could not ignore. Understanding the rift between God and Israel is the shadow arch-type of God’s rift with all mankind.

This separation between God and Man if left un-mended will result in a permanent separation from our Creator called the eternal, (spiritual) death.

It is worse than physical death because it is a conscious death with no remedy, it’s permanent and unalterable.

This was why Jesus/Yeshua came –

He was and is the repairer of the breach.

God provided Moses with specific instructions to build a Tabernacle, a place of sacrifice and worship.

The tent of meeting was transformed into the Tabernacle according to the precise plans given to Moses by God. This is recorded in Exodus 25-27.

This new tent of meeting came to be called the

Mishkan or Tabernacle.

It could be taken up and moved each time the children of Israel changed locations as they wandered through the wilderness.

A literal meaning of the word

tabernacle or mishkan, is:

dwelling place.

God Himself designed all the furnishing and items that He instructed Moses to build.

The pattern or plans given to Moses were to be followed to the letter. There was nothing haphazard about the Mishkan/Tabernacle that God Himself designed.

It was so important that God specifically chose 2 men Bezalel and Oholiab and filled them with His own Spirit in order for them to be able to do the precise workmanship that He required.

For more on Bezalel click link below

https://www.minimannamoments.com/whats-the-connection-between-almonds-and-olive-oil-with-messiah-and-2-lampstands/

But more important than all the furnishings was the fact that the Tabernacle was the place where God came down to dwell among His people.

The Glory of the Tabernacle was not found in the architecture or ornate furnishings of the Tabernacle

but in the Glory of the LORD who made

His temporary dwelling place

in the Tabernacle among His people.

The Tabernacle was to be the center of Israel’s life.

Just as Jesus/Yeshua is to be the center of our lives today.

What makes the Tabernacle itself so very important and of great interest is the fact that the precise instructions that God gave Moses to build the Tabernacle were based on the pattern of a Heavenly Tabernacle

Exodus 25:9
According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

Who serve unto the example and shadow of

HEAVENLY THINGS

as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the TABERNACLE:

for, See, saith he, that thou

make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

Hebrews 8:5

The Outer Courtyard of the tent of meeting

was 150 feet long and 75 feet wide

and included the Tabernacle within it.

The centerpiece of this area was an

Brazen/Copper Altar for Burnt Offerings

and a

large Bronze/Copper Wash Basin/Laver

for the priests.

The Bronze/Copper items were made from the womens’ melted down mirrors that were made of burnished bronze/copper that were so shiny they could see their reflection in them, not mirrors of glass that we know today. This is why it was referred to as sea of glass and is a type of the

in Revelation 4:6 says, “Before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.”

Revelation 15:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

The actual Tabernacle itself was 45 feet long and 15 feet wide.

It was divided into two sections.

The first section or Most Holy Place contained the Altar of Incense

a Golden Lampstand/Menorah,

and a Table with 12 loaves of bread/Shewbread

The second section was called the Holy of Holies

it was home for the Ark of the Covenant.

The Ark of the Covenant, among other consecrated items, contained the tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written.

For 40 years the Israelites relocated the Tabernacle, moving it with them as they travelled through the wilderness from Mount Sinai to the Promised Land.

After the children of Israel entered and conquered the land of Israel, Solomon, the son of King David, built the first permanent Temple in Jerusalem.

This magnificent Temple was also patterned after the Tabernacle.

In other words, the Temple replaced the Tabernacle, but the purpose of the Tabernacle and the precise way it was to be built did not change.

The Temple became a permanent structure built in Jerusalem as God had instructed; and it was the center of worship for the Children of Israel.

The Tabernacle is full of mysteries, some of which have yet to be solved; and its probably not an understatement that we could spend many years discovering the secrets hidden in just one of the items God designed to be inside His Tabernacle.

Amazingly, the overall purpose and the entire reason for the Tabernacle, can be seen by looking at the pictographic and numeric meaning of the four letters in the Hebrew word

Mishkan,

the word we translate into English as

Tabernacle.

Noon         Kaf         Sheen         Mem

is spelled

Alef

The first, the leader, the strength to carry out to completion. The Infinite Eternal Supreme Authority. The commander Represented in His Instruction. His Governing Spoken Established, Written, Certain, Established, Surety, Guarantor.

Tav TUh

The promise of DaBaR YaHUaH/ the word of ALaHYM. To be joined together with His restored creation forever and ever.

Consummated, achieved, completeness, restored.

HA Hey Hei

To reveal make evident

HA HEI. He reveals, makes known or evident, His identity His power.

Overt, undisguised, understandable.

Mem,

Hidden and concealed in the reign of darkness where the seed is planted gestation until the time of birthing The due date or Appointed Time

Brooding over Nurturing the comforter

Sheen, Shin ShYN

His Ruach His essence His being The fervent Ardency The intense fiery consuming passionate POWER of His Being evident in the work of His hand like a blazing fire a consuming passion Ruach HaQodesh or Kodesh.

Kaf, KaPh

Step by step. Pattern, Order, Method.

His lines to follow. His flawless pattern communicated; given in a diagram or panorama/picture/plan and made manifest.

Flourish, Thrive, Increasing.

A guide a map a diagram.

and

Noon. NUN

Birthing, birthed one, new.

The Brought Forth One

The Achiever and Finisher

The Begotten

So it could read…

To reveal, manifest what was unseen, the place of brooding over, (like in Genesis); nurturing by His Ruach, His Presence, to lead step by step in His pattern, a guide to follow a diagram given.

More Meaning of the

מִשְׁכָּן

found in the pictographs.

Mem is the picture of Water

Sheen is the Picture of Teeth

Kaf is the Picture of an open Palm

Noon is a Picture of a Fish/Seed.

The first letter in any Hebrew word is usually the most important, since it gives us the first clue as to what the word is all about.

Is there a connection between the Tabernacle and the waters of the pictograph for the letter MEM?

God is revealing something with the Picture of Water.

Recall that the LORD uses MEM to depict waters, like those that fill up seas and oceans, those that flow down streams and also that which falls as rain from the heavens.

We simply need to understand the context in which the picture is being used.

Understanding that the revelation regarding the Tabernacle/Mishkan is not only about what it is…as an object but

It’s about where it came from and its the key to unlocking this mystery because the precise plans for building this dwelling place with earthly Outer and Inner Courts came from above, the pattern came from His presence in the Heavenly court room.

Hebrews 8:5

Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the TABERNACLE: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

The LORD of Heaven is going to come down from heavens courts and inhabit the Mishkan, or Tabernacle court and He wants us to keep in our minds focused on that fact.

When we see how water is connected, then the picture of Mem as Rain is fitting, as the rain comes down from above.

Although the letter Mem in the word Mishkan is not about actual rainwater, it’s about something that come down from above just like the rain/water comes down from above the precise plans for building the Tabernacle come from Heaven above.

and the ONE who is going to make the Tabernacle His DWELLING PLACE comes down from Heaven above. And will abide with His people inside the Tabernacle within the Holy of Holies.

The piece of furniture in the Holy of Holies was constructed of 2 parts:

The 1st part was called the Ark of the Covenant. It was a wooden chest/box made of Acacia wood and overlaid with pure gold.

The 2nd part was an ornate lid with 2 golden cherubim with their wings outstretched.

This ornate lid (pictured below), was placed on top of the Ark of the Covenant.

It was called the Mercy Seat.

The Kapporet.

God commanded Moses to put 3 things inside the Ark of the Covenant.

These were

a golden pot of Manna,

Aaron’s staff that had budded,

and the

2 stone tablets on which the 10 Commandments were written.

These 3 items were symbolic of the complaints that God had against His people.

The Manna was a reminder of how the Israelites complained about and were dismissive of God’s amazing provision

The budding rod of Aaron was a reminder of how the Israelites rejected God’s leadership.

The stone tablets on which were written the Ten Commandments was a reminder of how the Israelites had broken all of God’s laws.

Any one of these complaints would have been legal grounds for banishment and punishment.

However we must pay attention and look where these 3 illustrations of Israels’ sins of unworthiness and unfaithfulness are kept.

They are hidden inside the Ark of the Covenant, secreted away, kept out of mans view and

covered

by the

Mercy Seat.

God uses objects and pictures to make His lessons clear to man.

Yeshua/Jesus is our Ark

and our

sins are not only

covered

by His Blood which is now on the

Mercy Seat/Kapporet

but wiped away for ever…

and our lives are now

hidden

with Christ in God.

 Col. 3:3

Amen.

Swords, Mountains and Gardens

Connecting some more dots with some of the places and things mentioned in the last few posts.… with God there is always more and this post takes a look at a link to the Mishkan, Gardens and Sukkot.

The wilderness camp was at the base of Mount Sinai.

Mount Sinai was also called mount Horeb, the word Horeb is linked to the word HEREV which means sword.

(Hebrew: חרב ‎, Sword) (Remembering that b and v are the same letter bet/vet.)

From charab; drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement — axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool.

This is interesting and significant on several levels, as here was where God cut the covenant between Himself and the children of Israel so it could also be called the mountain of the cutting.

Strong’s Hebrew: 2719.

חָ֫רֶב (chereb) — a sword

In Genesis we read that God

“drove the man out of Eden and stationed east of the garden of Eden the cherubim and the fiery ever-turning sword, to guard the way to the tree of life”

(See last post for more on Eden.)

SWORD OF God = cherev shel hashem

The Hebrew word for sword is Charev or Harev with the start of it being just like the word Hanukkah sometimes spelled Chanukah.

As noted, the Hebrew word for sword is Charev or Herev/Harev – חרב

The pictograph for Zayin looks like a sword, a weapon; the classical Hebrew script is constructed of a Vav with a large “crown” on its head.

There is a Mystery in the Zayin as it is considered a “crowned” Vav and just as Vav represents “yashar,” which is ‘straight light from God to man’, so Zayin reflects the (or chozer), of the vav as the ‘or chozer/ returning light.’

Think for a moment of other places where a crown is mentioned in scripture and what the symbol of the vav is…

Zayin (also spelled zain or zayn or simply zay) is the seventh letter of the Semitic abjads, including Phoenician Zayin , Hebrew ‘Zayin ז, Yiddish Zoyen ז, Aramaic Zain ,

Thought to mean Glowing/Heat, Mount Horeb is one of two names given to a mountain mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy as the site where God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses.

The second name of Horeb in Exodus is, the Mountain of God/the Mountain of YHVH.

Mount Horeb, Hebrew: חֹרֵב,

Greek in the Septuagint: χωρηβ,

Latin in the Vulgate: Horeb.

Mountain in paleo is: har

Hey – Resh

Meaning: behold the head above the rest.

Mt. Horeb – Most likely synonymous with Sinai, was the scene of the burning bush,

of the giving of the Law, and of Elijah’s vision.

We saw the first time the word HEREV is used Genesis was when God places the cherubim at the entrance to the Garden of Eden with the flaming swords, or Herev, because

the Herev is a sword raised up against sin!

And is familiar to us as being symbolic of the Word of God in Ephesians 6:17 and Hebrews 4:11

At the fall from Grace

They were removed from the Garden of life

after accessing a tree and

causing sin to reign

God took man out

of a garden of life

and they died spiritually

(broken relationship/separation from The Father.)

The day sin was put to death

the opposite occurred:

man took God down from a tree/wooden cross,

and placed Him in a garden of death,

the garden tomb

where He was resurrected into LIFE

and restored the broken relationship

with the Father having experienced the separation from Him.

In the Song of Solomon, there is another garden we read:

blow upon my Garden that the spices may flow.

Spices permeate the beautiful story, the Song of Solomon; Shir Hashirim, is the equally pleasant presence of the fragrance of spices.

Without the spices mentioned in this book of love between the Messiah and His Bride Israel, one could hardly imagine the prophesied marriage, or the communion of believers with their God.  Spices seem to be referring to the ascent to the heights of Israel and also pointing to enraptured heights of being in the presence of the Lord and Savior.

The spices are found in the presence of both Bride and Bridegroom, and in the ‘garden enclosed’—representing a virtual garden of each delicate and holy spice.

Most of the spices mentioned are the spices of the Tabernacle, the use and purpose of each spice commanded by God to Moses and Israel, and pointing to the pleasant, beautiful realm of Heaven and the throne/presence of God.

A deeper look at each spice, shows not only the symbolic value of each substance, but the nature of the spices; which in turn point to Messiah and His suffering. (not included in this post).

This should be our prayer..

Breathe upon us with Your Spirit/Ruach wind and stir up the sweet spices of Your life/chaim within us. Spare nothing as You make us Your fruitful gardens and hold nothing back until we release Your fragrance. Come walk with us as You walked with Adam in Your Eden garden and taste the fruits of Your life in us.

When Solomon talked of his beloved feeding the garden and gathering lilies it indicates that, the Lord keeps on feeding and strengthening those who are maturing spiritually; while gathering to Himself, those who are away from His word and still need to know Him.

So man placed God in a garden of death and laid on Him spices, which also came from a garden.

In the Song of Solomon reference to the bride, (us), is also made.

Note the crown!

Let my beloved come into His garden.

The tomb of God is a Garden tomb.

Meaning it is not just a place of death and ending… it is a garden

the place of life

where things sprout and grow.

The place of new beginnings

that place

Ha Makem’- ‘The Place’- המקום

of life/lives

Chaim.

All life now comes out of death.

We all must die in order to live.

Really, we should rejoice to enter His tomb..

to let the old man die

then we will find true new life.

And we are to raise another sword/herev,

the Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit.

As the law, is the instructions for life to be lived righteously, was given on the

Mountain of the sword/Horeb/Herev.

Or :

the mountain (behold the head above the rest) of HisWord.

This instruction was as a sword to be raised up against sin.

Not only corporately but at an individual level in life. We must use that sword against sin, which is, whatever does not line up with the Word of God. Use it to cut away (zayin) and circumcise our hearts putting every sin to death and driving out of the garden of our heart where sin will choke His-word .

The meaning of the letter bet also seen in the temporary house of Sukkot/Tabernacles ….. a place of safety and protection.

Coming from the ancient Hebrew prayer, which is called the hashkiveinu, and it describes an usual picture asking for:

His tabernacle to be spread over them.

Hashkiveinu is the second blessing following the Shema during Maariv.

It is a petitionary prayer to be able to lie down in peace/shalom at night and to return to life the following day.

Like a continual resurrection to life, where His Mercies are new every morning!

The prayer envisions God as a guide and shelter during the night ahead and praises God for watching over us, delivering us, and being merciful.

Here we ask God’s protection from the terrors of night “in the shadow of Your wings”- i.e., like the shelter that a mother bird gives to her young

Psalm 91:4 You will cover us with Your pinions, and under Your wings shall we take refuge.

This word is requesting, (actually commanding), God to make us lie down. We lie and down sleep as an act of surrender to God’s will that we sleep.

Hashkiveinu (hash-kee-VAY-noo), is one of the most beloved prayers of the evening service. It goes back to ancient times, when sleep was poorly understood.

Hashkiveinu Adonai Eloheinu l’shalom Spread the shelter of your peace over us.

V’hamideinu malkeinu L’chaim

Raise us back our King to life.

Keep us safe through the night

Till we wake with morning light.

Revelation 7:9… is the vision of the multitude standing before the throne in white robes holding palm branches…

which is what they held at the feast of tabernacles, or sukkot.

verse 15 says he who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.

The same unusual picture and the same words as the prayer.

God wants His people to dwell under His Sukkah, His BET/house/tent/His tabernacle, the place of his peace/ the Tabernacle of His shalom.

A Sukkah can be built anywhere. The one in the wilderness was mobile, so where ever we are, we can ask Him to spread over us the tabernacle of His shalom; which means we can live in, and under, that place of peace which includes grace and mercy.

The secret place of his tent is the now the Garden of our heart.

A pavilion is a safe shelter, here His Tent often referred to as the Tabernacle of David. The place of our hiding.

For in the time of trouble He will hide me in His pavilion He will hide me in the secret place of His Tent.

This is connected to Rev 7:9 and Tabernacles Sukkot Revelation 7:15

Revelation 7:15 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 15 For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. Revelation 7:15 (Or sanctuary.)

This Greek word, sk’enos, means ‘tabernacle, booth, shelter, or covering’ and also appears in Rev. 21:3.

This same word, sk’enos, is used to speak of Jesus/Yeshua during His first coming, (John 1:14).

Here we can see the protection provided in Rev. 7:16, corresponding to Isa. 4:5-6, and the fountain of living waters in Rev. 7:17 and 21:4.

For this reason, they are [standing] before the throne of God; and they serve Him [in worship] day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them and shelter and protect them [with His presence].

פָּרֹכֶת

Poreketh – po-reh’-keth = separation

Veils in Hebrew the sacred screen — vail. Strong’s #6532

Greek Strong #: 2665 ‑ καταπέτασμα

(kat‑ap‑et’‑as‑mah);

Eph. 3:18 MAWSAWK; The Life  – The Way –(includes: HOLY OF HOLIES Mercy Seat The veil Golden Altar of Incense HOLY PLACE Eternal Life Access Prayer Holiness Entrance Atonement.)

The poreketh as the vail of the Old Testament is misleading when applied to katapetasma in the New Testament. There are two katapetasma’s in the Holy places. There are two masak’s in the Holy places. There is only one poreketh. (see diagram below).

The way back between the cherubim is through the curtain, upon which the cherubim were represented visually. This curtain was hanging between the holy of holy’s and the inner Court. It was torn from top to bottom at the time of Messiah’s death as He torn for us.

Sin is dealt with in the court where the Bronze altar and bronze laver were and the sacrifice was made..

we can now enter in sinless because of the blood of Messiah that is already on the Mercy seat between the cherubim/The kapporet.

We can enter in to His presence, His ruach hakodesh, His Holy Spirit as the wind/ breath of His presence; blowing the sweet fragrance of spices from His Garden. And with His presence filling the house (our bodies), the temple, the inner sanctuary, not the outer court or the inner court of the temple; but the Holy of Holies. (Jesus/Yeshua in the tabernacle); the sanctuary, which is the body in which we live.

The temple is the whole plan in a structure, where Gentiles/ heathen were welcome in the outer court; so it’s precise that we are the sanctuary of the Lord – His inner place of glory, ha makem of the Shekinah presence.

Ha Makem’- ‘The Place’-המקום

Psalm 27:5 is the pavilion, the safe shelter, the secret place of His tent.

Tent as in Mishkan, and Sukkot booths or tents; (temporary residence, also symbolic of the fact our bodies are temporary residences while here on earth.)

The fulfillment of Sukkot will be when He tabernacles with men forever.

The links to the Mishkan/Tabernacle, 3 Gardens and Sukkot, together with the Herev of The Lord, seems undeniable. Messiah Jesus/Yeshua is in everything we just have to know where to look!

It is only by passing through the

sword of the cherubim in Messiah,

the Word of God made flesh,

that we can enter the Garden

and the life of grace

that contains all the blessings

within the shalom of Messiah.

This is the WAY (back) as if we are accessing EDEN passing through the cherubim and the flaming sword/Herev.

The hope of His calling us, the sukkah of His shalom, the hashkiveinu (spread over us the tabernacle of your peace)…

Don’t leave this page without the certainty that you are able to pass through the cherubim and that you can enter into His Presence washed in the blood of the Lamb of God.

Shalom, Shalom!

Please don’t leave this page without making a decision.

Its all about Life and Relationship, NOT Religion.

You are greatly loved and very precious in His sight.

He longs to give you the Shalom He paid the ultimate price for..

Mysteries in The Dereck of Rosh Pinah

The Dereck of Rosh Pinah

דֶּרֶךְ ראש הפינה

The WAY of the Cornerstone

or

The Cornerstone Way

Messiah IS

derech HaYashar

הישר  דֶּרֶךְ

the straight way – the right path –

the way (דֶּרֶךְ – derekh) and the truth (אֶמֶת – emet) and the life (חַיִּים – chayim)

The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.

Psalms 118:22

Isaiah 28:16

Messiah is the Rejected stone

The word for rejected in Hebrew is

Ma’as – מָאַ֗סְ

Messiah is the stone and according to the Hebrew word for rejected – Maas – מָאַ֗סְ;    He, as that stone, would be spurned, abhorred, held in contempt, despised and loathed, and so He was.

We can expect the same treatment from the world which hates Him.

Why?

Because He told us this… recorded in

John 15:18, If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

In Mizmor: מזמור :81:15, we read of ‘haters of God/YHVH’.

These are those who do not prefer God/YHVH to the rest of what life has to offer and they distance themselves from Him in varying degrees.

There are many other Hebrew words that correspond to our modern understanding of hate: bazah (despise), ma’as (to loathe), to’evah (abominable).

The Hebrew word mizmor, is a word meaning “melody of praise/ song comes from the Greek Septuagint translation of the Hebrew word mizmor.” It’s where our word Psalm originates (mizmorim – psalms).

Strong’s Hebrew: 4210. מִזְמוֹר (mizmor) — a melody.

Another Hebrew word used for psalms is tehillim.

Psalm 19:1 HEB: לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם

Psalm 23 KJV: A Psalm of David.

לבחול – to despise, to loathe (ב-) – Hebrew conjugation tables

Strong’s Hebrew: 3988. מָאַס (ma’as) — abhor

Can also be spelled with a letter c – ma’ac

Phonetic Spelling: (maw-as’)

מָאַס   Definition: to reject

ma’as – to loathe

Strong’s Hebrew: 4100. מָה (mah or ma- or meh) — what? how

Strong’s Hebrew: 4639. מַעֲשֶׂה (maaseh) — a deed, work

And of course Ma’asim is the plural.

Maas – מָאַ֗סְ – also means cut off. Which is the idiom in scripture for saying killed and Messiah was killedcrucified.

We can be assured that, as certainly as Jesus/Yeshua fulfilled the first part of that prophecy from thousands of years ago, that He will fulfill the second part as well.

Daniel also spoke of the Stone not cut by human hands..

The rejected stone will become the chief cornerstone.

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Eph 2:20

Prophetically fulfilled from Ps. 118:22

21. I will give You thanks, for You have answered me, and You have become my salvation. 22 The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. 23 This is from the LORD, and it is marvelous in our eyes.…

One day He will become the final and most glorious crowning stone of the kingdom of Israel and will be lifted up.

This is the WAY

דֶּרֶךְ – derekh

of Messiah.

The cornerstone…

the rosh pinah…

and if we as believers are following Him in His footsteps,

then as we do,

every rejection, ma’as מָאַ֗סְ

every pain, wound, abuse and wrong we have ever suffered will be turned around for our good as the Lord lifts us up and turns every sorrow to glory and

this will be the final chapter of the stone of contempt.

Matthew 21:42
Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures (Psalms): ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Mark 12:10
Have you never read this Scripture: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

Mark 12:11
This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

Luke 20:17
But Jesus looked directly at them and said, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
Acts 4:11
He is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’

Ephesians 2:20
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.

1 Peter 2:7
To you who believe, then, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”

Genesis 49:24
Yet he steadied his bow, and his strong arms were tempered by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, in the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,

Psalm 118:23
This is from the LORD, and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Isaiah 28:16
So this is what the Lord GOD says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will never be shaken.

In Hebrew, Rosh Pinah or Pina, means “Cornerstone” and signifies that Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah is the cornerstone of our faith.

The cornerstone of the Galilee – old Rosh Pinah

Rosh Pina is a town and local council in the Korazim Plateau in the Upper Galilee on the eastern slopes of Mount Kna’an in the Northern District of Israel.

It is a piece of history of the early modern settlers in Israel, now being restored.

Historical records show that in 1877, when a number of families formerly living in S’fat, bought land from the Arabs of the Ja’uni village and tried to establish a Jewish settlement which they called Ge’oni.

Five years later, over fifty Romanian pioneer families arrived, liked what they saw and made their homes here. They changed the name to reflect the very stony ground they had to clear. Taking the phrase from Psalm 118, which we read in Hallel,” the stone rejected by the builders became the cornerstone”, they changed the settlement’s name to Rosh Pinah, which means “the cornerstone”.

The new arrivals tried farming and grew tobacco and started a silk industry. They planted mulberry trees and Baron Rothschild gave each new settler family silkworms and larvae to start them off. The British Mandate saw a customs post erected here as it was the last stop on the route to the ‘Galilee panhandle ‘ and Syria beyond.

Gradually the population of Rosh Pinah declined until some twenty five years ago, when a restoration and regeneration project breathed new life into the village.

The rosh pinah or cornerstone is always the foundation in every building

and this is true of the Temple in Jerusalem whose foundation stones are still there today..

these Herodian foundation stones are huge.

Jerusalem is where God said He has put His Name.

https://www.minimannamoments.com/i-will-put-my-name-here/

Even though Jerusalem is a city of rocks on the edge of a desert. It is still His choice.

In Hebrew, Jerusalem is Yerushalayim  ירושלים; and as we have seen in previous posts, the suffix  I M means it is plural in all Hebrew words that have the letters at the end.

Here is another secret of the IM’s…

As we have seen in previous posts

https://www.minimannamoments.com/the-mysteries-of-im/

there is more than one Jerusalem

Yerushalayim –  ירושלים;

There is one of time and space here on the earth which we can see with our natural eyes and physically go and visit: and there is another Jerusalem Yerushalayim, ירושלים which is in the book of Revelation called the New Jerusalem Yerushalyim ירושלים that is to come – the one we don’t yet see.

Click link for more on New Jerusalem/Yerushalyim
https://www.minimannamoments.com/21-12-21-12-12-12-12-12-12/

This is also the meaning of AYIM which incorporates the IM…

The New Jerusalem/Yerushalayim/ירושלים will be Perfect but the one now is Imperfect; the ending of the city’s name is AYIM as the last 4 letters of the word Jerusalem/Yerushalayim/ירושלים in Hebrew.

AYIM is also a separate word in Hebrew that speaks specifically of duality as in 2. Emphasizing the 2 Jerusalems/Yerushalayim/ירושלים

And if we are children of God then we all connected by association to Jerusalem/Yerushalayim/ירושלים, both the one now and the one to come. Because of God’s focus on the city, Ha Makem’- ‘The Place’- המקום, it is also important to us and in a way we share its’ nature of dualism.

Our lives are AYIM….

meaning there is always more to it than meets the eye or what we can see with physical eyes. There are two realms and we have two lives. Just as the city is imperfect in it’s current position/state; so is our earthly life, yet we shall become like Him, flawless and perfect in the new Jerusalem/Yerushalayim/ירושלים, in our new bodies, in the New resurrected life to come.

This life may seem to be real to us now, however, the reality is, it is temporal and the truth is always better than what we think we know!

There is coming a glory that is beyond anything we see; beyond anything all of our five senses tell us to feel or understand.

There is a measure of comprehension of an ayim – a duality, yet to be revealed in its’ fullness, and yet it is a choice we have now. We can choose to live NOT by the earthly which we see, but by the heavenly which we don’t; and live by what is yet to become; looking unto Jesus/Yeshua, the author and finisher of our faith.

The AYIN is also a letter of the alphabet and it has the symbol of the eye clearly seen in the Paleo Hebrew below.

Strong’s Hebrew: 5869. עַ֫יִן (ayin) — an eye

The 16th letter of the Hebrew alef-beis/alphabet is AYIN. The numeric value of AYIN is 70.

The pictogram, or symbol, behind the shape of the letter AYIN is two eyes.

Seeing. Watching.

Rabbinical tradition has it that the letter represents the optic nerves of the two eyes, leading back to a solid foundation for life.

This is because the form of the letter AYIN, is very similar to the form of the ‘optic nerve’ structure in the EYE: each of the 2nd pair of cranial nerves, transmitting impulses to the brain form the retina at the back of the eye.  Hebrew defines the EYE as a spring or a fountain; the showing of mental and spiritual faculties.

The word AYIN

(spelled AYIN YUD NUN) means “eye”.

According to some Rabbis, the ayin is a letter vav contained in a letter nun, combining the 2 pictographs – with the tail of the letter nun being the vav and the ayin/eye being the head of the nun.

The nun represents humility.

The vav signifies Torah, which descends from Heaven to earth in its inherent design of a hook or a chute.

Just as Messiah is the WORD/Torah and descended from the heavens to earth and hooked us as the fisher of men!

The spiritual number of the letter is 16 and means ‘Sacrifice’.

AYIN is the singular of AYIM which is both eyes.

The 2nd of the duality is of our vision; which gives depth to a three dimensional image.

Photographers call it depth of field.

DOF

We need both eyes to see this 3D effect.

For photographers, it is all about FOCUS! And which part of the image is the focul point….

the place in the image that we are being directed towards; above the focus is on the flower as the dof is adjusted.

It is the difference between a photograph on a flat piece of paper and

the real object that we can walk around, touch and see all sides.

This is a great image of our education and understanding of God and His Word.

We read the Bible on flat (2D) two dimensional pieces of paper.. but the Word is alive and living like a two edged sword it has 3D substance – like faith – that we can get hold of with our spirits.

It’s all about FOCUS for believers also – what are we giving our attention to??

Below the tree is in focus yet both the foreground and background are not. If we don’t use DOF, everything in our pictures is in focus at the same time.

The spiritual application for our lives is; to use our spiritual attributes and put everything out of focus except the Lord, keeping Him as the central point.

even of the things not seen but understood by our faith and trust in Him.

As we see through a glass darkly, we comprehend the things of the spirit by the spirit, as they are spiritually discerned.

The Bible tells us that

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

the Word of God encourages us that we can do it.

Our AYIM are open and we see Him as He reveals Himself to us; and we begin to comprehend the length and breadth and depth and height of His love for us; and as the entrance of His Word brings light and life, we become a bearer of that light to the world around us in response to His command.

His life is the light of men.

That life that ended in Jerusalem Yerushalyim; will come again a second time to that very same location/place and bring with Him the new restored city of our God.

Meanwhile, with our AYIN/eyes open; we need to be focusing on and seeing Yeshua/Jesus in everything we do in our lives.

This is the WAY of the rosh pinah – the Way of the cornerstone; the very cornerstone which was Maas = rejected; will be established and our AYIM eyes will see it in time – in both the IM’s of Yerushalayim

Ps 122
Ps 147:2-3
Rev 21: 1-2
Eph 1

The origin of the Hebrew word for Jerusalem Yerushalayim (ירושלים) comes from a city called Rushalimum or Urushalimum (Foundation of Shalem) ירושלים Yruwshalayim {yer-oo- shaw-lah’-yim}; a dual (in allusion to its two main hills (the true pointing/focus, seems to be that of Yruwshalem )); probably from (the passive participle of) yarah and shalam ; meaning: founded, peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine — Jerusalem.

The ending – ayim as we have seen, indicates the dual, thus leading to the suggestion that the name Yerushalayim could also refer to the fact that the city initially sat on two hills referenced in the Hebrew Bible and Jewish sources. The form Yerushalem or Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) first appears in the Bible, in the Book of Joshua.

We are to

“Shalu Shalom Yerushalayim” – “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem”

AYIN, in Hebrew,  as we now know, means EYE and in Aramaic it refers to SHEEP

AYIN is the ‘EYE of the SHEPHERDwatching over His SHEEP and

The EYE of the SHEEP is ever on the Shepherd, because

the Shepherd is NEVER out of SIGHT or FOCUS

Psalm 121:4-4

I will lift up my EYES to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.

His ‘EYES’ are never closed to us.

The apostles gave an EYE WITNESS account of the gospel.

John 19:36-37  For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, ‘Not one of His bones shall be broken.’
And again another Scripture says,
‘They shall look on Him whom they pierced.
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him.  Even so, Amen.
Revelation 1:7

AYIN reveals God’s DIVINE PROVIDENCE – His care for His sheep SHEEP, in Aramaic, talyâ means “lamb,” but also “child” and “servant.”  And such was the ‘LAMB of God‘, and the care for the SHEEP of His pasture who have all gone astray.

1 Peter 2:25 For ye were as SHEEP going astray; but are now returned unto the SHEPHERD and Bishop of your souls.
Psalm 23: 1 A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees;

He is The author and finisher

Please don’t leave this page without a certainty in your heart that your eyes will one day look into His in Heaven.

Don’t put it off, the days draw ever closer to the door closing at end of this age – just as it did in the days of Noah.. and He told it would be so again…

NOT CERTAIN?

YOU CAN BE..

Make sure Messiah Jesus/Yeshua is your Redeemer, Savior, Lord and soon returning King and that you have a personal relationship with Him.

It’s all about Life and Relationship, NOT Religion.

You are greatly loved and very precious in His sight.

Amen.
