We’re so glad you are here!
You are not on this page by chance.
Because If You Have ???
And you are hungry?
This is ‘Ha Makem’- ‘The Place’-המקום
Here there is some ‘Manna’, which was the miracle food from heaven that fed the Israelites for 40 years in the wilderness.
It fed both physical and spiritual needs.
It was said to have looked like a small, round, white seed.
It descended at night, sandwiched between two layers of dew.It tasted like your favorite food, and was different to every person depending on their belief and attitude of heart.
It produced no waste, encapsulating its eater’s nutritional needs so precisely that after the body absorbed what it needed there was nothing left.
It may not be your usual choice from the menu…
BUT WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?
Take a bite of something a little different from your normal diet and taste and see the Lord is good!
MMM hopes you will find some MANNA for today’s journey among the many pages.
Rediscovering what we have forgotten and recapturing what we have lost.
The Ancient Way.
The flavor of the MANNA we receive will be determined by our hunger!
SO..
ASK
for
We are to stand in the Ways and ask for the Ancient Paths.Looking at the original language, of Hebrew/Aramaic (Ivriyt), in the scripture above….
standing in the Ways, is the word Derek – or to be more exact (דרכים) Derekiym.
The word Derek (דֶּרֶךְ) (Strong’s HH1870) is typically interpreted as a road (as trodden); figuratively a course of life or mode of action, and most commonly as a Way.It’s about The Path -The Way that Jesus/Yeshua walked.
It’s the WAY through the
narrow gate
and few there are that find it.
Jesus/Yeshua said unto him, I am the Way [derek], the Truth [emet], and the Life [chayiym/chaim]:
Ask
Seek
Knock
Ask, and it shall be given you;
Seek, and ye shall find;
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened
Matt 7:7-11, Matthew 7:7-11, Luke 11:9-13
We are Asking for the WayWe are Seeking the TruthWe are Knocking on the door to eternal life of which Heavens 12 gates are Pearls. We are seeking the hidden treasure and pearl of great price. Matthew 13:44-46
It’s up to us to diligently search them out and when we find the ‘pearl’ lets eagerly buy the whole field; for the meaning is the treasure, it’s the precious truth of the Kingdom and unlike the merchant this man was not searching for treasure, he was working in a field but he too was willing to sell everything to obtain the treasure he had found.
For scripture says in Jeremiah 29:13; You will seek me and find me when you seek me with ALL your heart.
The question we need to ASK ourselves is HOW are we seeking?
Casually, or with ALL our hearts?
If language shapes reality…
and we misunderstand original meanings, we are not only at a disadvantage, but we are often misdirected to an incorrect interpretation, based on the language we use.Furthermore, the mindset we have grown up with, especially in the western world, is a Greek mindset. Because of this, it is many times at odds with the scripture interpretation, which was written from a Hebrew mindset.
Understanding the Hebraic principles and roots of their thought processes, will enhance the meaning of the things we believe and also reveal fresh insight to familiar texts.
Psalm 147 tells us that God gives ‘food’ to every creature.
Here is a great example: The Hebrew word for food is lechem but it also means bread. In Israel there’s a town called the House of Bread.
The Hebrew word for house is bayit (sometimes spelled bayt or bait.)
Note that the ‘construct form’ is transliterated as bet (or beth), and means ‘house of.’ So, the house of bread would be Bait/Beth Lechem. We know it as Bethlehem.
In Bethlehem was a feeding trough where animals or creatures came to receive their lechem. It was there that The Bread of Life came down from heaven and was laid in a feeding trough for lechem. Messiah said, “I am The Bread of Life which comes down from heaven. He who eats of this bread will never hunger.” Messiah truly is The Lechem of Life.
He is the One for whom this world and our souls hunger.
Without Him, we’re all empty.
So let’s stop filling up our lives and souls with that which is not life giving bread – not the true manna from heaven. Let’s turn again to Him, who is The True Sustenance for our lives, and then we will truly be filled. For God is He who gives to every creature…lechem.
Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ”32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
John 6:33
We are CALLED to be filled with the Lechem of life and share what we have received with others.
Let’s dig for some treasures and pearls we may have missed. Tav from EMET the cross
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.’
(Rev. 2:17)
So it would seem.. this is the WAY walk ye in it; And then we will be eligible in Receiving The Hidden MANNA.
MANNA is a symbol of God’s sustenance and provision both spiritually and physically.
